here's another thought I think needed posting on this kick-ass forum. My friend in Bloomington, IL named Dan (best RBI player I've ever seen) happens to own a grey NES cartridge for RBI. Most people own the Black cartridge that looks more special. Could there be a slight difference in their play since they were manufactured differently? Oh, by the way, Dan beat me 4 games to 3 while I was home for the holiday. but he still does owe me ten bucks for the beer and smokes. He beat me one game by 3 runs, but he drank a ton more because I was Boston and hit 17 dingers. We play that you drink the run difference if you're the loser at the end of the game, which I don't think is in the dee-nee rule book. Dan wants to play in any tournament, and there are a lot of people that would put an amount of money on him too. Don't know if anyone would be at all up for the challenge
I doubt there's any difference in game play. Actually I still need a copy of the unlicensed ROM ... the link in the ROMs section gives me a 403 Forbidden. (~poke~ Gantry ;) )

i own the grey version and as far as i am concerned there is no difference in game play just asthetic appeal.

once you go black, you never go back. same with chmod, but i can't come up with a rhyme for that.
