Game Summary:
The Fighting Tony Danzas kept coming back. But just when they would draw close, Da ShitPaws would pull away. This was the pattern throughout Da ShitPaw's 15-11 victory in a Fantasy RBI League game played Wednesday night at Tengen Stadium.
The result creates a logjam in the league standings. The bottom four teams in the league are tied at 2-4, one game out of fourth place and a playoff spot. The Fighting Tony Danzas rallied to come to within one run in the fourth inning and two runs in the eighth from big deficits, but Da ShitPaws were able to respond each time to give themselves some breathing room.
Da ShitPaws pounded out 23 hits against The Fighting Tony Danzas, including 16 off of starter Roger Clemens. Tony Armas was 4 for 5 for Da ShitPaws, including a home run, while Dwight Evans added grand slam in the bottom of the fourth when The Fighting Tony Danzas had drawn to within a run. Eric Davis was 4 for 5 with a home run in the loss. They were again hampered by weak production from the bottom of their order, as their six through eight hitters went a combined 2 for 15.

Well played shitpaw.....
Bob Boone at the #2 spot? You have to do something about that...
OK, apologies about the quality of the GIFs - like I said, it's a learning process, and in trying to down sample the files to be able to make them bigger, the clarity got lost a bit. Still, if you're drunk, it almost looks OK...also, I'm just taking key game points versus every run scored.
First Inning:

Eric Davis opens the scoring with an RBI double

Tony Armas and Ellis Burks each hit two-run home runs to give Da Shitpaws the early edge
Fourth Inning:

Consecutive doubles by Clemens, Raines and Trammell get the inning started off right for the Fighting Tony Danzas

Evans gives Da ShitPaws a cushion with this grand slam
Sixth Inning:

Home runs by Gibson and Hernandez draw the Fighting Tony Danzas closer
Eighth Inning:

Davis hits a two-run shot to keep the pressure on

But McGwire answers with a two-run bomb of his own

after losing so many games, i went with an alternating lineup... one good hitter, one bad, and so on.
i'm sticking with this one, as crazy as it may seem.
maybe he belongs further down though -- i can't ignore advice from Gantry
