Title: RBI arcade challenge
Post by: ericdavisfan on 12/20/04, 11:27:14 AM
I know this puts some limits on people, but use the ROM if you don't have the arcade machine.

Anytime a team goes up by 10 runs, on the arcade version, the game is over.  Since I rarely have a live opponent, I make up my own challenges.

Choose Houston (easily the worst team on the game)

Try to beat each team within the first inning (meaning the computer never gets to bat)

Once you accomplish this, try to beat a team without ever recording an out!

I've only done this once, and I was using the Yankees.  With Houston, it's near impossible.

Wow, I really have trouble scoring 10 runs in an inning against the CPU, even with solid teams (usually I use the Cubs on the arcade)

I should clarify on this.

I have beaten a team without recording an out once.  I was using the Yankees.  I have never beaten all teams without recording an out with any team.
