Righty pitcher on mound with plenty in the tank. Bases loaded. 2 outs. Down 2 runs.
Who do you want at the plate?
For me, it's Alan Trammell.
I want a righty versus a righty, and he is the best righty in the game in my opinion.
andre dawson
Will Clark
Marc Sullivan
Great question, Big Apple. For me, the answer is clear: McGwire. He's the only guy in the game that makes me disappointed when he "only" rifles a single...
McGwire is off the hizzle. The only reason I might go Pockface A-Tram is that he can run, so maybe he'd leg out an infield hit.
For me (and probably only me), i'd pick Tim Teufel (pinch-hitting with power boost). I have more game winning big hits (usually homers) with him, than anybody else.
ARMAS
Jim Lindeman. He is clutch as it gets for me.
For a starter...Reg-gie.
For a pinch-hitter...Lindeman. Fucking clutch.
Potatoes in a landslide... Rupperto in a distand second
For a second, pretend that we're down 1 instead of 2 so they couldn't walk him...
Jack Clark
no question about it, I take Tim Raines
well jack clark has single handedly screwed me officially in many games now, so id take him.
but my preference would be one of bostons big boys...rice or baylor
I'm surprised by all the support for right-handers (myself included). I feel so much more comfortable with a lefty at the plate.
