After reading his chapter in "One Pitch Away," I've found a new respect for Gary Carter.
I no longer can say that I hate the man.
This book is a truly good read. It's quite possibly the best $1 I've ever spent.
Sadly, I have yet to open my copy. As soon as I get done reading the 25+ books I had to buy for this semester, it's on my list of things to do.

Funny Ryno, I felt almost the exact same as you after I read it, I no longer hate him, I'm not saying I'm his biggest fan, but I'll no longer hold his Metdom against him.
Does he explain the man perm?
I think that was just a product of the 80s.

I just finished this book and loved it. Thanks for the recommendation, Ryno. All Dee-Neers should read it.
The Donnie Moore story is depressing as hell. I've heard it before, but damn. I'm glad it was not at the end of the book.
