I was just wondering but isnt your tournament for your champion coming up pretty soon? If so who is the favoriite for this one?
You are correct sir... In fact, we finally started talking about it while in KC this past weekend. We typically have it in late April or early May and that looks like the timeframe this year....
This year introduces the first qualifying tourney, where non-finalists and newcomers have to face off a few weeks earlier. Since Sperling is out playing war, the qualifiers will be Lips, my brother, Jason (aka vitb6) and hopefully Nick. Nick is still a questino mark because he's getting married shortly and he seems to be quite busy...
As to who is favored, it's too early to tell because of the qualifier. But this year should be a tossup, due to the fact none of us have played very much since the last tourney. In fact, the qualifiers may be at a bit of an advantage by getting in a large amount of games and prepping their systems for the influx of booze....
