Question:
Vote for the Worst Superbowl EVER
Option 1: XXXIX Pats 24, Birds 21 (Censored Commercials, Donovan Chokes, Birds basically surrended with 1 minute to go)
votes: 4
Option 2: XXXV Ravens 34, Giants 7 (The Giants really did suck that year)
votes: 8
Option 3: XXIX San Fran 49, Chargers 26 (The Chargers ... in a superbowl?)
votes: 0
Option 4: XXVII Dallas 52, Buffalo 17 (A real nail biter + Leon let it go)
votes: 1
Option 5: Other
votes: 2
In my opinion ... this was the worst superbowl I have ever seen.
You do know that there is another board for non-RBI topics, don't you?
oops ... coulda sworn i was in anything goes.
never let it happen again
Ravens-Giants was horrific. At least some of the others had occasional moments of excitement. This year's game, while close, was also incredibly boring, but not close to as bad as Ravens-Giants.

I concur, I remember basically playing poker during the entire 2nd half of the Raven/Giant game.
This is thread is blasphemy!
I voted for this last superbowl, but thought all the ones mentioned were very good superbowls.
I don't necessarily mind blowouts. The 49ers were the most exciting team to watch that year, and they just proved their dominance over the best AFC team (even though the best AFC team that year was probably the 6th best in the League.)
Same goes for Dallas/Buffalo.
The Ravens superbowl rocked. I absolutely loved watching the Ravens play deffense that year. It was like they had 15 men on deffense on every play. (I wonder if Hasslback gets irritated knowing his backup has a superbowl ring?)
I think the worst superbowl ever was the Broncos/Falcons.
I voted for the Ravens/Giants, although I didn't bother to watch this year. I remember a group of us flipping over to Willy Wonka and the Choc. Factory at halftime, and never going back to the game.

Despite my Giants allegiance, I couldnt help giving up on big blue by the second half. They just looked terrible. I was never really convinced they were a great team. So, I figured it would be more enjoyable to get drunk and hook up with some nasty skank than watch the game. So while kerry collins was blowing it, I was getting blown by some fat chick in the bathroom who had no idea what she was doing. Worse yet, some of the people at the party abandoned the game to listen in on what was going down in the bathroom. Bottom line it this: I didnt cum, I was embaressed in front of a lot of people, and the Giants lost. It was a dissapointing superbowl on many levels.
i went with this year's based on the fact that it had the potential to be good but Philly just pissed it away.
Giants/Ravens was pretty shitty though and I couldn't tell you one thing that happened from Broncos/Falcons. I remember we spent the last 3 quarters of Niners/Chargers playing basketball.
Tie between Ravens/Giants and Tampa Bay/Oakland.
In Ravens/Giants, they were two of the three teams I hate most. In Tampa Bay/Oakland, Tampa Bay won, and they should never win anything.
