Gantry. I believe you use this. Does it really work--anyone else use it?

I don't use the retreat, but with Mookie Wilson I always stand at the back of the box.  This move is known as "Mookie Stance" and is highly effective when using Mookie.  Results may vary with other players.

That's a good point. I've had success in the back of the box with the Astros.

Token straight pitch disclaimer, but I use the retreat for virtually all my ABs.  I'll sometimes use the Tettleton with righties, but only about 5-6 ABs per game.  Everything else is all retreat...

Same here, I think 'the retreat' (never called it that before) provides the batter with a major advantage.  It gives you added time to decide where the pitch is headed, whether or not it is a sinker, and allows you time the hit more perfectly because you know the speed of the pitch.  I'm normally all over the box, but prefer the bottom the most.
