Title: New PS2 Baseball Games...
Post by: clyon81 on 04/08/03, 03:29:59 AM
Last year I wanted to buy a baseball game, but I didnt really know anybody that was into them, so I took a chance and bought All-Star Baseball 2003. It was very boring, I played it probably 5 times max.

My favorite series of all time was world series baseball for sega genesis. When I wasnt playing the short 20 game seasons, my and my friends/brother were duking it out.

I was dissapointed last year when I found out that World Series was back, but only on Xbox. Now to my shegrin, it's out on the PS2. I played the Xbox version in a gamestop a few weeks back, and it looked pretty fun. Not to mention you can pretty much adjust the game to be as realistic, or as arcade style as you wish.  I was never a big "cursor" batting fan, but WSB 2k3 allows both. I still want to give the new MVP 2003 a rental chance, but I think im going to go ahead and take a chance that WSB 2k3 will bring back my love for baseball, and rekindle my many misspend summer days as a child. When I wasent playing pick-up games I was playing WSB.

Im really looking for opinions here though, because I do want to know if any of you have played any of the new games so far and what your imput was...

Where's RBI baseball? So other baseball games actually exist?

I wonder if the PS2 has an emulation scene like the Dreamcast, would be fun to play RBI on the XBox or PS2...
