I can't figure out why he isn't on the Reds Arcade team.

Doesn't the arcade game just have old players, like back from the 50s or 60s?

EDavis was on SportsCenter last night for some stupid steroid story they were doing.  He's such a fucking pimp.  Chubbs and I were watching and we both thought the same thing: OG from Compton.

I guess the programmers just didn't think that he matched up to the likes of guys like Chris Brown on SF

Here's the Red's bench besides Robinson no one deserves to be ahead of Davis.

Dan Drissen    1977  Left  .300  17
Frank Robinson    62/66  Right  .342  49
Heinie Groh    1919  Right  .310  5
Ernie Lombardi    1938  Right  .342  19

What's also weird is that the Reds don't have a current player on their team either.  Most teams throw out a token player with 1986 stats or was a primer factor on the team in 1986.  The Reds only have Mario Soto with that distinction, and by 1986 he wasn't much of a nonfactor...

so 1986 is now considered to be "current?"

Yes, in a forum dedicated to a game from 1987, 1986 is very current

I assume 1986 was the last season RBI Arcade had full stats to use, current probablywasn't the best term ...

I just saw this ad for a current movie called Platoon.  Anyone know anything about this movie.  I bet it's just like that new Arnold movie Commando.    :P

They had Dawson as a Cub (his first Cub season was '87) and were off by 1 HR and .001 Avg, so if it was a projection, I would assume it was a late season projection.

I'll be attending that June 11th game!  Maybe I'll try to get E.D. to sign my copy of RBI.

Last I heard, he was in a front office job with the Washington Nationals. As far as I know, that's the truth.
