Don't knock Marc, he's a special player.  He may be tied for slowest speed and worst contact, but he has more power than the numbers show.  In comparison to the rest of the Sox bench, he's not much, but I use him full time since Barret, Buckner, Boggs, and Owen get yanked if I'm looking for homeruns.

On those occasions it's normal for him to go deep 2 or 3 times a game in homerun derby matches.  A few times he's knocked out four.  The point is that he's one of the few players that seems to stay locked in to his pinch hitting modes (powered up for initial pinch hit) throughout a game.

Keep using Sullivan.  It won't be long before you start hitting bombs that don't come down again.

I've not nearly as big a Sullivan fan as Beanball, but a dinger for him isn't super-rare around these parts.  Now Steve Lake on the other hand...

Sully Sullivan is a pimp in the Bay Area!  His name strikes fear.

Ok i dont understand something.  I just started playing RBI again after a good 2 month lay off.  I cant hit the ball with any of a teams best guys.  i have hit homeruns with steve lake and marc sullivan but none with reggie jackson ruppert jones or kevin mitchell or will clark.  And ive had pitchers hitting well too.  Im making good contact but its all shots to the infielders.  Whats the deal.  Im sure itll right itself soon enough.  Ill take some BP and the kinks will work their way out of my swing.  But has anyone else had this shit happen.

Potsie tends to slump with the team's big dogs as well...

I would say keep hammering at it.  Pinch hitters have a power boost in their first AB, which might assist you with the Lakes of the world.  Then again, I boosted Lake is still below a Reggie Jackson....
