So we finally met up for our series to determine best record so far.
Game one was pretty close. Noah jumped out to a 3 run lead, scoring all 3 times in the 3rd inning. Dirt made it 3-2 after 6, but was in a lil trouble bc normally studly ace Nolan Ryan could only complete 3 innings. However, Ojeda had his knuckle working, and was able to provide the long scoreless outing that Ryan usually puts up. Dirt wins, 6-3.
Noah HRs: Hendrick, Gaetti
JoeDirt HRs: Hrbek (2), Mattingly, Puckett, Boggs
Game two was a quick one. Everything seemed to line up perfectly for Dirt, and the game lasted 5 innings. Dirt wins, 12-2.
Noah HRs: Bell (2)
JoeDirt HRs: Mattingly (2), McGwire (3), Trammell, Puckett
Game three was fairly uneventful. Noah took an early lead with a 2nd inning HR from Bell, but Ryan had his A game--as did Ojeda. Dirt completes the sweep, 4-1.
Noah HR: Bell
JoeDirt HRs: Mitchell, Guerrero, Mattingly
Filthy.
My victory over JoeD feels a little better. The bastard can hurl, even in straight pitch...

Good series. But, game two went like 5 innings, not 2.
sorry...that was a typo.
All I know is that I am scared to death to play both you fckrs. :(
I will fear no evil. I am ready to accept whatever ass kicking I will receive.
Lemme get this straight. JoeD is insanely good even in straight pitch? Can he really be that hard to beat? JoeD, my controller issues have been straightened out and it will be arriving in a few weeks. I challenge you to a duel! When the controller comes, of course.

You'll be destroyed.
Fair enough. Lemme know when you get it.
