I put some serious thought into this since the worst all star game in any sport in the history of all sports ended in a tie.
If the players go on strike, do we boycott RBI? I don't know if I could handle that, I play every day.
We had planned a home run derby for Monday night, a straight pitch all-star game. I lost 2 games to none to the AL, Ripken, Bell and Mattingly all went yard three times.
But after the all star game the next night, we lost all pride in the sport, and played a real lackluster All-Star game. I ended up winning in the third game 6-5, thanks to 3 homers from Kruk, one of which was an inside the parker that bounced over the center fielders head.
But unfortunately, it wasn't fun, thanks to Bud Selig, and the pussy ass overpayed ball players, the spirit was gone. You try and tell me that if I bring in Franco, Bedrosian or Righetti, those guys can't go more than 2 innings?????
