Managerial genius. I never would've even let Grich get 1 AB.
We are playing the "sub your opponents batters" style right now. You do random teams and you can sub whoever you want for your opponent. It is quite fun...
Minnesota is quite terrible in this style...
On that note, Sperling just went yard with Larry Herndon. Only the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever seen that...
We had a Wally Backman dinger yesterday... Still never seen a Santana dinger

You don't play enough with him. My RBI buddies and I used to leave him in fairly regularly and he was serviceable.
We called him Larry Hernia
I'm surpised by that. He's one of the weaker hitters in RBI. I don't think i've used him in 15 years.

Impressive. I've never seen Backman or Santana hit one out. Speaking of weak hitting, i've been watching 1 or 2 games per night on the all-pitcher-hitters ROM, and haven't seen one reach the warning track yet. I'm becoming doubtful...
It's all about trilogies today!!!!
Kevin Seitzer just hit 3 homers for me...with the same rules!!!!!!!!
...but I lost to Gantry with Cali.
Dah-Nah!!!!
This Grich news does not surprise me at all. The Grich karma was high today, no question, thanks to my find last night. I was looking through my junk in the basement and came across an old program from the time I went on a family vacation to California and saw the Angels play. Bobby G was on the cover of the Angels View magazine and I was thinking the gang here might need to see this artifact.
The magazine is from June 1982 and it includes a loooong interview with Grich. There are a few more RBIers in the magazine, but it wasn't as packed as I had hoped. Anyway, here's the cover. That mustache is epic. Maybe I'll also scan the 1982 All-Star ballot if anyone is interested.
Don't kid yourself. Son of a Grich has some power. I'll leave him in for 1 AB sometimes, if I wanna save the 1st at bat power boost for my pinch hitter.
I busted the second controller a couple weeks ago. Chubbs and I are not able to play because i was drunk and reatered...kinda likenow. I'm an idot and I"m jonesing for some RBI. Suck my dong.
Quotei was drunk and reatered
It took me about two minutes of staring at that quote before I finally figured out that he was trying to type "retarded". I think.

Indeed,
Nobody beats The Piz, nobody
Congrats with Grich getting 3 HR's! Now for a challenge.
Let's see if somebody can go yard with Ozzie Smith, or even with a pitcher. I never let "Son of a Grich" even get a single pitch in, because I haven't had success with Mr. Grich, as he grounds once every three AB's for me (but they're usually singles). His 124 speed blows, but sometimes he may get lucky.
