Title: Home Run Fireworks
Post by: Gantry on 05/19/03, 10:01:28 PM
I added a FAQ question on the # of fireworks that show up after a homer:

Why do the number of fireworks vary when hitting a homer?

Every time you hit a home run (not counting inside the park), you get a nice little fireworks display. If you pay close attention, you'll notice that you don't get the same number of fireworks each time. If you hit a solo shot, you get 5 fireworks. You get 6 fireworks for a two-run dinger, 7 fireworks for a three-run shot and 8 for a Grand Slam.

Nice and easy I know, but it took years for me to notice it!

I never noticed that before!  HEY, another reason to play RBI today...so I can check out the fireworks.

There's fireworks?
I guess I haven't hit my first homerun yet. I just have to keep playing--eventually I'll do it.
But really, I've never noticed the number of fireworks varies. Kinda cool.

Yeah, it was one of those things where I suddenly noticed they weren't always the same.  Completely random, but good to add something to the FAQ that wasn't ROM related...
