Title: 1986 all-star game on ESPN Classic
Post by: Blyleven_No-No on 07/03/02, 10:07:39 AM
The 86 all-star game is on ESPN Classic right now,  a chance to watch many of our RBI favorites.  Clemens pitched well and was clocked at 97 (he throws harder on RBI).

Sweet Lou Whitaker hit a two run homer in the second after a Dave Winfield double.  I saw Tim Raines run out a fly ball and he doesen't have the same speed as RBI either.

That would have been sweet to watch!  If people know of any upcoming 1986/1987 baseball events on ESPN Classic, be sure and let the forum know.  I would love to watch the whole 1986 playoff series with the Mets, Astros, Angels and Red Sox...

i just watched the 84 allstar game and it was loaded with rbi legends as well...  you got to love watching baseball in the 80's  where pitchers could acutally pitch...

By the way, while everyone is watching these 80's games, notice the size of everybody, skinny fuckers. The players nowadays are starting to get as big as the guys on RBI. Steroids? I think yes!

you think piner...  the players nowadays also have access to nutritional suppliments that help them gain weight.   it is safe to say there are plenty of players who are using illegal substances too.
