Title: Atari RBI Legend
Post by: Burnzky on 07/05/02, 09:00:06 PM

Atari RBI legend Ted Williams, the last man to hit .400 hitting .406, died Friday of cardiac arrest. It was a great loss to baseball. He was 83 and was a RBI and a MLB great.

It is a terrible loss, RBI or otherwise.  Just made a mention of it on the main page.  My brother (who is a baseball freak) loves Ted Williams, his favorite all-time player....

teddy ballgame... the best there ever was...  the best there ever will be... i can only imagine his numbers if he didnt miss five years serving his country.

rest in peace ted...  unfortunately, i have read that his son wants to freeze the body so that he can sell the dna in the future.  ted's daughter is planning on taking the son, john henry, to court.  by the way,  who the hell needs two first names that doesnt live below the mason-dixon line?
