soon to be conglomerate
This is good stuff though, I wonder how long before we find out if its true....
Added a Puhl...
Good pun.
Not surprised about the Steroid usage at all. More players were using them than not using them from the early 90's on.
Wow, Nails ain't getting the benefit of the RBI doubt here. What is that book on the 1986 Mets that i've been hearing about? Definitely has to be added to the Amazon wish list...
Title is something like The Bad Guys Won
That's the longest title to a book I have ever seen.

Yeah, it looks sort of like what would happen if Fiona Apple wrote a book about the 1986 Mets. Except that in that case, the title wouldn't mean anything. And the book would suck.
I was thinking the same exact thing.
This should be a puhl. Would you nail Lenny Dkystra?
Lenny Dykstra in 86
Lenny Dykstra in 93
Lenny Dykstra in a carwash (come wash my back!)"
Moustache ride with Keith Hernandez
I always figured Dykstra used steroids after he got a hard-on for becoming a power hitter. I'm a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty, but I voted guilty as an opinion.
The book has been added to the wishlist, which reminds me of a new thread....
the headline that the LA TIMES ran with this story was even grosser and more suggestive, it said "nails, fingered?"
Jayson Stark's reaction to the allegations against Dykstra. (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=stark_jayson&id=2046213&num=0)
New reports say he did gamble (not on baseball) but steroids claims are unfounded
I can certainly believe every aspect of it but the betting on baseball part. That to me is complete BS unless proven beyond a shadow of a doubt...
I just think there's no actual proof of him betting on baseball.
Who bets on baseball, anyway? I hardly understand the odds. Bet 100 to win 150 or some shit like that.
