Title: RBI Statistics and Attributes
Post by: TβG on 04/28/05, 04:01:31 PM
Has anyone considered the reason why the RBI game doesn't take into account the actual statistic of RBI's?  there's a paradox for ya.

is there any correlation between a guy's RBI totals for his RBI year and maybe some of his batting attributes?  have the programmers accounted for a batter's RBI's at all?

The avg/homers are strictly for show and there is really no consistent logic for the attributes.  A mass guestimate for all players is the only thing I can see...

The only order is the chaos...

I always did wish they showed RBIs.  I like stats.  And it's the name of the game, you've thunk they'd throw it in there.
