Title: Where can I find new ROMS?
Post by: xenos on 06/11/03, 02:22:11 AM
I'm just getting back to playing the NES baseball games of my childhood on my Mac. Where can I find the different ROM versions. I already have the standard RBI ROM and the "Best Teams of the 90's' ROM. Thanks for any help...

Gantry has a spot where there are a few more roms & someone else posted two roms 80-84 and all time teams.

I have also created "RBI Baseball 2k3" It has all 30 teams on 3 roms, 2003 rosters, projected lineups, ratings, and stats from 2002.

Thanks and Enjoy!

Thanks guys! You do great work, and I am appreciative. I haven't played my PS2 in 2 days since downloading these RBI ROMS. One more thing: I also wonder if RBI 2 or 3 has been "altered" in the same way as the original RBI. I'd love to get my hands on an updated version of RBI 2 or 3. Even though the original RBI features better physics (in my opinion), I still like the ability to manipulate my starting line-up. Thanks for the help!

I want to edit the game, but I can't find the damn text strings for team names and abbreviations, nor where the colors are stored for uniforms.  The player data is easy enough to change, but what's the point when you can't alter the other stuff?  I say that mainly because the uniforms are all alike and drab, and it would be nice to use the allstar slots or in the case of RBI 3, the division winners spots, as locations for the expansion teams.

It will be done at some point by someone though.

You still having trouble with the site itself?  If you are nightwulf, let me know and we'll hammer it out perhaps over AIM or something....

I also started a ROM Hacking page, but the details are limited right now.  Perhaps I'll work on that a bit more today...
