I dont remember who posted it, but a couple of years ago, someone on the forums said "we need to get rbi in the schools, kids are growing up these days not knowing how much power tom brookens really has." Well today RBI was played during 3rd period at garden grove high school in SoCal. Because of ap testing, i was one of only 5 kids in my class so our teacher (a 31 year old rbi enthusiast back in the day) told me i could bring in the nintendo. Straight pitch and stike style were both used and Ho picked up an upset victory over Dt. Most importantly, kids now know how much power tom brookens has.
Well done Burnzky! That is the second documented case of RBI played in school, with edfan getting a clutch Jim Lindeman dinger awhile back to win an in-class game....
Houston over Detroit, I take it that was curve?
Wow, a Burnzky post. A blast from the past. RBI in any school is definitely a good thing.
Gantry obviously failed reading comprehension when he was in school...
Straight pitch and stike style were both used
How dare thee
Yeah Ho over Dt was curve style. Apparently my teacher is a little rusty with his skills, i had to remind him to sub herndon.
It can be forgiven if he hasn't played in awhile...
So how much high school left Burnzky? You are one of our brightest (along with JerryD) pupils to takes your RBI skills to the next level. College....
And what's your brother up to? Still in the minor leagues?
Yeah i got one more year left of high school then takin rbi to the college level. Right now my bro is teacing at my school so he's been a little busy, but im gonna try and get him and Gwynn3k to start playin again.
