Title: More RBI Trivia
Post by: Shooty on 05/07/05, 05:59:00 PM
Clint Barnes is only the third rookie to finnish off April with over 50 at bats and batting over .400.  The other 2 are RBIers.  Name them.

I have no fucking clue, nor could I logically come up with any good answers.  So why waste time posting this?

Okay, I got one that you don't have to go to your local library and wipe the dust off of the old books for.

Don't look at the game when you answer this, it takes the fun out of it.

Name all the teams that have a slugger not in their starting lineup. (40 plus homers)

You now have 30 seconds GO!

I beleive it is Roger Clemens. with the 2002 Yankees. I say this because I don't remember the 2003 basball year that well.

world champions:

2004 Boston Redsox
2003 Florida Marlins
2002 Anaheim Angels
2001 Arizona Diamondbacks
2000 New York Jankees

and i second ultimates answer, it would have to be ellis burks from last year.

There is no one named "McGuire" in RBI.

I'm wondering if OctoFranco wasn't including Burks, since he didn't make the playoff roster... that seems a bit too easy.  I would think that the Sox would have given TimEllis a ring, though.  Not that I have any idea who else it would be - I don't know of any RBIers who were involved in any of the teams since Clemens' Yanks.

Hah this is why I should stick to RBI and not MLB. Although I am a big fan now, I wasnt back in 2000.

We all knew that, but we weren't about to let you get by with misspelling an RBIer's name incorrectly twice.  You should consider yourself lucky that you didn't misspell Alan Trammell's name - JoeDirt would have tracked you down and killed you.

Something of a trick question since he got the ring without really doing anything, but very good.
