if it falls off does it grow back?
all I know is that at some point playing basketball last night my big toe got fucked up, when I took my shoes off my sock had a small patch of blood on it yet no cut or nothing was on my foot. My big toe is now turning a light purple and shit is oozing from underneath the toe nail.
I'm pretty sure its gonna fall off.

Your toenail will fall off and grow back. I had a similar situation when I was four - I dropped a can of Coke on my big toe while trying to get to the Cocoa Puffs in the pantry. That was the only time I ever remember my mom buying Cocoa Puffs.

I've lost four toe nails, two of them from the same toe. The 1st time it came off, it grew back very bumpy and weird looking. After that one came off, the next one grew back looking perfectly normal.
i think we should all smash one of our toes in a show of solidarity. kinda like when a whole team shaves their head, we'll bash our toenails in honor of malnu... and this great thread.

Sorry, I can't do that. In the middle of kickball season - not a chance. I have a $1,000,000 miillion dollar insurance policy with Lloyd's of London on my feet. Which, if someone else wants to smash a toenail for me, could be profitable for us all.

I found out the blood was from the corner of the toe nail being crushed into the toe itself. And If I tried to kick a kickball right now I would probaly fall to the ground and cry.

Ingrown toenails hurt like having two surgeries on both balls at the same time.
I had surgery on eight of my toes for ingrown toenails. That bitch will probably fall off. If I were you, I rip that bitch off.
I had someone step on my foot playing soccer when I was a kid. The nail turned dark purple, but stayed on my toe. All of a sudden one day the dead nail popped off, and a new nail had almost fully grown in underneath.
