Sounds like a problem with the editor for nightwulf. what name are you using?  Try something different, and only use letters and 5-8 characters.  May not help, but worth a shot...

So what was the problem? Can't fix anything if I don't know what was wrong with it. :-\

Nightwulf, you have access to the forum error log?  Lots of icky stuff in there coming from Owen's IP...

owen - let nightwulf know exactly what you tried to name the ROM.  I have a feeling it was a space or possibly another ROM with the same name...

Yeah, I glanced at that. Several errors are due to what looks like trying to "upload" a ROM from dee-nee instead of the local hard drive. Interesting idea, but that's not how it works. ;)

It does sound like a naming issue, but I swear I've escaped out every damn special character that needed to be. Screw this. Next re-write of the editor is killing file names. I'll use long arbitrary numbers instead. "Hey guys, check out RBI2k6. It's ROM no. 4309823723."

Only if you make sure the URLs are obnoxiously long as well.  That really chaps my hide...

Owen - what was the name you were trying to use when saving?

Do you remember exactly what you used?  nightwulf (the guy who wrote it) wants to fix that problem so it won't happen again...

Length shouldn't matter, unless you're talking super long (>256 characters). It's no biggie; parts of the editor are overdue for a rewrite anyway.
