I know we've all agreed that pitchers suck at the plate, however, i'm interested to find out who the best pitcher/hitters are.  Anyone have a favorite please weigh in.  For instance i've noticed that i can "bomb" to at least the depth of the standard outfield position with DT's Morris consisitently.  Let me know.  Dah-Nah!

Who is the best hitting pitcher in RBI Baseball?

Though some people swear by the hitting abilites of certain pitchers, all pitchers have the exact same batting characteristics. They are as follows - 64 contact (26 points worse than Sullivan), 78 speed (same as Tony Armas) and 128 power (64 points lower than the weakest hitter). This was determined by watching the RAM of the game itself while playing on an emulator. Thanks to Nightwulf for figuring this out. And it is correct, all pitchers hit the same...

fair enough on the stats, but who are the favorites - i mean the intangibles?

I still think Don Robinson is the best hitting pitcher.

Danny Cox has the all-around hitting game.  He can go short bunt, he can pitcher bloop and he can go powerful single to left.  He's the  goods...
