Title: McLane house games --- 5/23/05
Post by: fknmclane on 05/24/05, 01:06:22 AM
After a heavy, heavy dinner including cream cheese burgers, pasta salad and potato casserole (and a shit ton of beer,) our heroes fknmclane and chubbrock partook in some RBI Baseball.

Game 1:

A 1-1 pitcher's duel up until the 6th inning, Bobby Witt finally caved when giving up a swinging bunt to Doyle Alexander with two men on in the top of the 6th.  What followed was a 7 run two out rally.  Chubbs was not pleased.  I was giddy like a school girl.

Dt won 9-3 over Ca and Chubbs gave the "beatdown" controller a good once over, especialy after the 7 run two uot rally.

Strange thing happened tonight.  I had a man on second and none out.  I hit a grounder to right field.  My guy onsecond went to score and my batter tried to strectch it into a double.  Chubbs cut the throw off and tagged out my runner at th same time and to top it all off he threw out therunnner at home.  Definitely a crazy play.  We went ape shit.

Where's my beer?

We have a pretty simple proof at the dee-nee house:

If BOP, then Homer...

It pretty much works the same way with a pitcher hit, especially with two out.  That's a horrible way to lose...

Game 2:

Me Bo
Chubbs NY

4 - 2

I had four solo shots.  That's about it.  Chubbs couldn't hit the borad side of a barn. Good tiems.  He's pissed, wr'e drunik.

Game 3:

Chubbs Am
Me NY

Chubbs started out real hot, hitting 4 solo shots but I had a 6 run inning and after switching to wine, he had enough.  He's afucking quitter.

Nobody likes a quitter, though I've been known to do it from time to time...

Switching to wine doesn't sound very wise, you are just asking for a headache in 8 hours...

Let it be known that wine was NOT good idea, as a ridiculously intense hangover set in very close the 8 hours Gantry estimated.

That wine sure was delicous though.
