Title: Giving back errors
Post by: Big Apple RBI Champ on 06/27/02, 11:33:26 AM
If I am at bat and I hit a can of corn (i.e. lazy fly ball) to an outfielder and he is camped under it, but the computer has the player drop the ball, then I get out on purpose. This is called "giving it back."  This is similar to giving fumbles back in tecmo.

RBI is a gentleman's game, guys.  Let's play like gentlemen.

True but errors are a part of baseball.  If your outfielder drops an easy fly ball, the computer doesnt get out on purpose for u.

I agree with Burnzky.  Was a home run given back to the Texas Rangers when the ball hit off Jose Canseco's head, then went over the wall?  I didn't think so.  Oh shit, that was classic!

I agree with BOPs are part of the game, but I never take a double-play as a result of a BOP....

I dont feel bad for the computer if they cant make plays.  If your gonna play and expect them to compete then u might as well just not play. Like i said, if i mess up or bop a ball,  they dont get out for me.
