This thread is for posting exhibition scores and summaries. I believe once the league gets off the ground, Gantry might hook us up with a seperate board. Since your teams may not be on the same roms, take turns letting the other guy play with his team, on it's rom, and vice versa. Once the league is set at a number of teams, i will transfer all the teams to one rom, for league play. I just want you guys to get some online games in, and get a feel for things before the season starts.
Until then, Post here.
The Brewers draw first blood with a weak HR by E. Young in the first. The cubs rally in the bottom of the 2nd to score 5 runs, and tack on another 3 before defeating the brewers 8-3.

I got the stats by taking a snap (f9) in nesticle between the top and bottom of the 5th (since he was at home and winning) and then went into my folder where nesticle was, clicked on the snap, and wala.
hey, i would like to play some practice RBI games with people since I have never played online before. If anyone would like to set up something with me, you can IM me, my scren name is: DJRUN9
The Marlins had the advantage in the weather(lag), the rangers show grit, but the rally was too much for them, as the marlins went on to defeat the rangers in the TBL scrimmage, 14-3, called in the 4th.

Another scrim. Bad weather again helped the hitting. The Angels (Chet) took a 8-0 lead. The Yanks came back with 3 in the bottom of the second, and 8 in the third. The Yanks had a 16-9 lead in the top of the 5th, when the Rally Monkey sparked a 7 inning. California couldn't score with 2 on & 2 out, and the Yanks went on to an exciting 17-16 win.
Angels 23-37 (9 2Bs, 1 3B, 3 HRs)
Yankees 18-29 (7 2Bs, 1 3B, 6 HRs, 6Ks 1E)
I would like to get a scrimmage going... anyone up for that around midnight tonight - I would love to play, but will need help getting set up. Hit me back on here or at doverby@utk.edu.

Going into the bottom of the 2nd, and bottom of the third, I thought I was going to get him with the 10 run rule, he came back every time, and actually took the lead after the bottom of the 4th, but I came back to put up 8 in my final at bat, to win 22-17, Astros over the Rangers.

Intense game. I was up 5-1 and he hit back to back homers to come back to stay behind by a run 5-4. I put in Williams and he saves the game in the 5th inning.
Good to see lots of DEE NEE GUESTS getting pumped about online RBI... go ahead and join dee nee so that you can attempt to overtake gantry in post of quantity and quality.
yea, well it takes time to get the timing down for hitting. and the yankees have too many good hitters! i would like to experiment with fast ball, curve, and sinkers, that would be interesting. cheers!
It all depends on the connection 2 days ago the connection I had with Clyon sucked but then the next night I unplugged my cable modem and plugged it back in and the game ran really smooth. So if u have problems with that I suggest that u try that.
marquis helped me out and we played a scrimmage....i didnt get all the rules at first, but it all went well...a well challenged game....the bo sox hung on and outslugged the yanks 15-10....only 3 homers all game....but it was cool...love to do it again

Yes, the former AL and NL champs matched up in this grueling game. A close one, very close, Giants down by two in the bottom of the 5th. Pinch hitter Perez comes through and sends the game into extra innings tied at 10. Top of the 6th the pitcher Rodriguez scores a double as Angel's CF looses the ball in the sun, next Jose Cruz Jr drives in a run. Bonds clears the bases off Perceval. Angels come back strong in the bottom of the 6th. Anderson and Salmon both hit solo homers. Needing only one run, the Angels fall short of a possible dramatic victory.
Rodriguez - (W)
Perceval - (L)
Player of the game: Bonds (2 HR)

Recap- the comish took it to this cocky young gun by sending out the near unhittable randy johnson....on paper, a great matchup with pedro, but pedro did not bring his A game, and the hot bats of arizona sprayed hits all over the field for a game breaking 3rd....the sox showed some life off a shea hillenbrand homer and posted up 5 in the 4th...but couldnt gain any more ground...a fantastically pitched game by johnson...id have to give the MVP to him....
Djrun and I just battled. Couldn't get the snap open but here are the highlights.
World Series rematch with Dj taking the G-men v. me with the Angels. Dj fell victim to a left field glitch, a bop, and a pitcher hit all in the first which allowed me to jump to a 6-3 lead. Though the giants put up a decent offensive effort the angels ripped hit after hit off of the usually unflappable combo of Reuter and Nenn. This one ended in just 3 short innings the same as the real series. Angels come out on top. 16-6.
I am interested in joining the RBI 2K3 league but I need some online experience. My AIM is: heeprules My e-mail is griff035@yahoo.com
Look for me online or send me an e-mail if someone wants to play.
I was just wondering how you play online. I didnt even know that it was possible. Can someone tell me cuz I might be intrested.
just played my first game on-line. Opened up with a W against DJ Run. Played as the Bravos against the defending NL champs, the SF Giants. Sheff went deep twice and Javy had a big game with a clutch RBI. With the final score of 16 to 15, I opened up my on-line career with a bang. I will take on all challenge.

In my 2nd on-line game with DJ Run, I was once again victorious with the Seattle Mariners over the Toronto Blue Jays. Lead by Ichiro, the M's had a 10 run third inning.
Patrick
In 2 more attempts to show I am "league material" I took out the first time on-line player heeprules. In the first game, the New York Yankees dismantled the LA Dodgers in a 10-0 2 inning battle. With Jorge Posada leading the way with 6 RBI's. The following game pitted the Oakland A's (heeprules) vs. the STL Cardinals, with the Cardinals coming out victorious. Heeprules showed to be a formadible opponent being defeated by a score of 19-8 by the undeafeted Patrick. The highlight of the game came when heeprules tripled with the pitcher Barry Zito. That is it, if anybody wants to play, find me.
