Hmmm...
After watching this animated image from work, it seems to be a lot slower than the one I viewed last night on my PC. I guess the performance of the animation has to do with how good of a computer that you are on. I figured animated GIFs would be pretty standard across PCs. It was the first time I dabbled with animated GIFs.
By the way...this might be a geeky question, but when saying GIF, who pronounces it JIFF (like the peanut butter), not GIF (3/4ths of GIFT)?
I am one for GIF!!
Gotta use the hard "G". "Jif" is a brand of peanut butter, so if you say it around non-geeks, they may get confused. If you say "gif", though, they'll know they don't have a clue what you're talking about and keep their mouths shut.
Of course, this implies that you're talking with people who occasionally know when to keep their mouths shut...

I'm detecting a little hostility towards "non-geeks".
All "gif" all day...
Wow, I didn't realize how angry that post sounded until I re-read it. It wasn't totally intentional. I can't have too much hostility toward non-geeks, as I'm married to one. I apologize if I offended anyone less nerdy than myself. And now that I think of it, the guy I know who has the most trouble keeping his mouth shut when he doesn't know what he's talking about is a fellow geek, so my earlier statement was kinda bogus anyway.
Frosty must've really taken out DoveRBI. We haven't heard from that fella since this was posted.
Is Frosty sabotaging the Dah-Nah squad again?
