Title: Worst Rbi Game ever Vs. a Human Opponent
Post by: TecmoGuy on 07/09/05, 07:56:33 PM
What was yours?

Noah G's worst game was when he accidentally moved out of the way and missed a slow grounder, and he had lost the game in extra iinnings.  THis was after he was losing 3-0 and came cank to tie the seven game series 3-3.  This bizzarre incident occured almost Days after Boston had won

My worst game(s) ever were Games 4 and 5 against GDavis in C-Bus.  I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn because GDavis was in my head rearranging furniture.

Jose Phady's worst game was when he took his ball home and quite in the middle of an ass-whooping that I was administering...

why the fuck do ppl quit?  this is not cool....ala Beales in the tourney.  i was so surprised when he just threw in the towel.  Sometimes there are situations that are hopeless, but soldier on already.

i dont think ive ever been 10 runned in rbi or anything like that.  i do blow a lot of late leads though.

I was surprised when Beales quit, too--happy, but surprised.

the worst part was the match-up(he coulda shut out STL the rest of the way, and tried to get back in it).....granted its vs Reily but still he gave up on that one ball, and those extra 2-3 runs scored, making it an impossible hole to dig out of.  had he made the play he's still in the game and down by 3 or 4 tops....whatever the score woulda been.

i guess if your super frustrated then whatever....also did the computer screw him on bops that game before that?   he seemed fairly disgusted.

Game 1 of my series against GDavis in Columbus: 12-5. How the hell did I give up 12 runs?!?

In defense of Beales giving up against Dirt, he was almost back in the game when Tony Pena's grand slam bid just missed the foul puhl (fair all the way, really thought it was gone), he had so many chances in that game but Dirt pitched his way out of it gracefully.

I've never seen anyone load the bases more than Dirt and still get a shutout, incredible.

My worst game had to be a game seven versus OctoFranco (no reset), I forget the teams (San Fran versus Boston maybe?), bottom of the 16th, bases loaded, taylor made double play ball to short, get it to the second baseman and my A button sticks momentarily allowing the winning run to score, a split second at first, brutal, fucking brutal.

But, had I won, OctoFranco would have had a heart attack, so I guess we're better off that I lost.

Against my friend Joe...bottom of the 13th inning, 5-5, both of our pitchers are completely dead. I somehow manage to get two outs on him without giving up a run. I walk 3 people to load the bases and face his pitcher.

A slow grounder to the short stop....bops off my face. Error. Game over.

Wow, love the strategy.

How have you ever been able to pick up a controller since?

i recall against lips at columbutt, he would get the bases load about every other inning.  i either won that game w/ a walk off in extra's or lost in extra's after some bops...cant recall which one it was.  but easily my most nerve racking game ever.
