Title: My old nintendo no worko
Post by: T Roogs on 07/14/05, 11:27:46 AM
I've been trying to revitalize RBI in my life, but it always resets in the middle of an inning or hit or something. Its a nintendo basically. Is there anything I can do to it to make it work? I know all the tricks to stuffing games in there. BUt something I could buy like a cleaning kit or new parts?

I thought that I was to have to get a Spanish - English translator to read this thread.

Anyway, I think that you can pick up the 8-bit connector thingys on eBay for a low cost.  I have no idea how to fix do the actual repair, though

I bet G-man knows

eBay link to an 8-bit, 72 pin connector for NES

I love explaining bad jokes to out of work comedians

My old nintendo no worko.  This sentence reminded me of how I used to try to make up spanish words.  Didn't know the word for spoon, so I'd say spoono.  Didn't know the word for fork, so I'd say forko.

Basically, my idea of Spanish was tacking an "o" to the end of any word, thereby making it Spanish.

I think that the word "going" is apparently silent in that sentence  ;)

I'm frightened.  and by frightened I don't mean wishing I was in your arms.

My wife was just playing Dr Mario and the NES suddenly powered off.  I'm thinking (hoping) it is just the power source deal.

Most likely the AC adapter if you have no power.  You should get the flashies at the very least if it lost contact...

yes, before my ac adapter had some serious problems it started to just cut out for a sec....flash, then the game reset.

a month later it wouldnt work half the time...thankfully I had stock-piled nes accesories whenever id find them left behind in a house.

Sorry, that was me. I don't allow others to play my game, so I dispatched a lightning bolt.

We played the other night when my brother and Chubbs were over for dinner.  Kat buckled under the pressure of an audience and I beat fair and square for the first time ever. I'ms till on a high.

In other news, the NES is again working.  For how long, who knows?

The NES is not working again.  It seems to shut off when played for too long.  Definitely gotta get a new cord.  Kat is about to lose it.

Kat should play something besides Dr. Mario.  Afterall, he's not actually a real doctor.  Maybe she should try some Cobra Triangle.  BAAAH!

There's one person in the world that will get that joke, but I did it anyway.
