Title: Couple more names to add
Post by: DamnTheCowboys on 07/20/05, 11:22:15 AM
....to the sons in baseball such as Tony Armas Jr.

I don't know if minor leaguers count, but I did not see Tony Pena Jr on the list.  Saw him here with the Richmond Braves this year, and I saw Tony Gwynn Jr. playing in AA in North Carolina for the Mud Cats (Marlins organization)   Actually, he may have been playing for the other team, I forget.
It was definately an honor, though, to see two sons of RBI Baseball players in person

I think right now the list is just for those that play or have played MLB.

Cool deal.  Keep your eye out for them being called up, though.

Hey cowboys, thanks for the info!  Where exactly is the info for Tony Armas Jr. lacking on the site?  The db or one of the dee-nee pages?

I probably should add minor leaguers to the list though, the more info we hvae the better...

I check Armas Jr. is there, I think he was just using Armas as an example of Father/Son, not saying it was lacking
