Title: Boston Area RBI'ers
Post by: Mike D. on 08/01/03, 01:21:26 PM
For all those in the Beantown area, perhaps we should get a mini-tourney going?  I'm a fan of beer and RBI, I don't know about anyone else...Now if only I could find a way to incorporate strippers into this.....

Mike, we could even do the Centerfolds invitational RBI Tournament. It's right in Chinatown.

Work related.  Plus, I fish all the time, so I wouldn't be opposed to living on the Gulf of Mexico.  And heat and tourists beats snow, ice, slush, frigid cold, and fat girls who wear puffy silver Tommy Hilfiger jackets and smoke Marlboro Reds, which if you'll recall, is the main female populace of Massachusetts.

You sound like you're on the North Shore. Revere, maybe?

Worse.  I work in Billerica, and now live in Lowell.  I grew up in the hotbed of yuppy suburbia, though.  Westford....

I remember that Lowell got a great reputation after that HBO special about crack addicts a few years ago that was set in Lowell. I've never been, but I hear the Spinners games are pretty good.

Spinners games are fantastic.  The ballpark (Lelacheur) is beautiful.  Tough to get tickets though, they usually sell the season out in about a day or so.  Pretty amazing for a single A team, but I think it says something about Boston baseball fans.  And the HBO special about Lowell was "High On Crack Street: Lowell Massachusetts".  That's why I moved there, easy access to the best stuff.....

vgp/BDawks and MikeD's mutual man crush is no secret....And if by "date" you mean going out and catching dinner and drinks or something, then no.  But if by "date" you mean putting pats of butter down each others pants while singing show tunes, then yes.
