Title: Article: Darryl Strawberry
Post by: Nails on 07/25/05, 10:00:42 AM
Going Nine: Darryl (http://www.nysportsday.com/news/mets/1121725414.html)

Not a bad article on Darryl, including a Don Mattingly quote.

Definitely an enjoyable article and the quote from Donnie Baseball is a plus.

Great article.  7 RBIers mentioned in the article as well.

The funniest thing however, was the pop-up that showed up when I clicked on the link:

Nice little article, short and sweet...

I clicked the link and got a popup in Firefox, too.

Great work Nailz. I love to hear good things about the Mets former players.

Added Strawberry as a roving hitting instructor for the Mets and Mookie Wilson as manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones to the WATN (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/wherearetheynow.shtml).  Looks like Teufel lost his job or got promoted....

He's currently the manager of the St. Lucie Mets (A)

Would that be high-A, a division up from the Cyclones?

Yeah, Class A Advanced - I think it's a step or two up from the Cyclones
