I was going over the Death rules and the FAQ and thought I should mention a couple of rules here in Phoenix. Side note: when I say Phoenix, I mean my house because all the RBI players I know come here to play and it really only includes about 10 people at the most.
At the end of the game whoever has the least amount of errors drinks. The amount of drinks is figured by subtracting that players errors from the others amount. This may seem stupid but we play to get errors. On every ground ball out at first base you gotta run towards second and then rifle the ball towards the wall. If it hits the wall it counts as an error. Bops or faces as we call them also count in the total.
The other rule we have is pretty difficult to master. If there is a homer, the pitcher of course takes a drink. But the drink can be negated or not taken if the pitcher can get three players in the screen by the time the players all score. It's only possible on homers to the center field area, but possible nonetheless. You gotta run the center fielder straight into the wall and then bring over one other outfielder. Then you gotta bring an infielder all the way up. If this is accomplished the drinks dished out for giving up the homer are null and void.
