one of the best 3 game series' of RBI Baseball I've ever been in. I was playing my brother in a three game series of RBI and I was the Angels and he was the Mets. Game one lasted 17 innings with a final score of 5-4 favor the Mets. Game 2 lasted 15 innings with a final score of 9-8 favor Cali. Game three went 16 innings with Reggie Jackson making an error in right to give my bro the win 8-7. The amazing thing was that both of our lineups could not hit the relievers who were so worn out they were throwing 40 mph. We also had a combined 392 AB's in the series. Wow, I've been playing this game for 10-15 or so years and never played a series like this.
I would need to pass out after a series like that. What style of pitching do you guys play? Sounds like anything goes, but gotta ask. Nothing like a grinding, mind-blowing series of RBI.
Yeah we play curves and the like, but do not play sinkers. Sinkers or knuckles or whatever you want to call them just seem pretty chessy because it is so hard to determine whether it will break or not.
This sounds like a pitching style that pretty much no one is familiar with. Just to clarify: you guys move the ball around all you want but don't allow and drop/curve/knuckle/sinker pitches? Pretty fucking crazy.
i dub this "knurve style"
Yeah, sometimes we play no rules, but most of the time we play everything goes besides the knuckle. It seems to work out well too, because while the game doesn't have the offense of a straight pitch style, there is still alot of skill to pitching (hitting the corners, changing velocity, and pitch placement) which results in a decent amount of low scoring games.
Beautiful, yet another style of pitching... The game keeps on evolving...
