Title: Question for Gantry
Post by: Domer14 on 08/23/05, 07:29:45 PM
I saw that you guys have the arcade version of RBI. A few questions: Where did you find it? How much was it? And are they rare? Thanks.

1)   Wal-Mart (in the classic arcade dept)

2)  tree fitty

3)  Yes or No

Actually, there is a "big" old school arcade game of VS RBI.  It has all-time rosters and is a kick ass game.  To play it in its original format on the PC you'll need MAME (I think that's what it is called ---- google is your friend here).

As for the real arcade game, you can check ebay.  Seems like those things are in the neighborhood of $300-$400 bucks and not many people are willing to ship them.

I'd say they are semi rare.  If you look hard enough, you can find one.

I just checked ebay. . . none on there.

Maybe joedirt will see this and help you out.  He has an RBI arcade in his basement.  He also has a nice collection of gimps.

I know about the emulator from checking the FAQ. I was curious about the arcade game though. Thanks by the way for the info.
