The question: I've been playing R.B.I. at everyvideogame.com and cannot figure out how to make runners return to their bases when the ball is hit in the air. I can't count the number of double and triple plays I've hit into simply because a fly ball is hit and I can't get the runners to go back. Any help on how to do this either at the website or in the original NES game would be much appreciated.
The comment: This R.B.I. site is fantastic and made me laugh out loud as I remembered long summer days and nights spent playing the game. I'm 31, and reading this site made me feel 14 again. Thanks.
Use "B" to run to bases.
Use "A" to run back to bases. ;)
A+ the direction of the base you want to go back to.
B+ direction of base you want to go forward to.
Thanks. I'm 99.9% sure I've tried that, so maybe it's just a problem with the emulator at everyvideogame.com. If only I could bring a TV and an NES into the office...

You might just try using any emulator (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/faq.shtml#CPU) running locally on your PC. FCEU doesn't add registry entries or anything fancy. You can just download it and run the executable without any kind of setup, so you shouldn't need Administrator access and can probably get away with it even if you can't normally install software on your office PC.

That's a crazy name, so he went by Mr. Misterbialowas then? Was he related to Mr. 3000 thousand by any chance.
I may be the only person who ever does this, but I constantly hold down B when I have runners on base. When they go back to a base, I hit BOTH B and A. I think it is psychological, but I swear that it leads to smarter baserunning on the part of my players.
Mister Bialowas, are you in relation to Frank, The Animal, Bialowas?
Mr Dobalina, Mr Bob Dobalina.
