Did anyone in here ever keep stats for an entire season of RBI? I certainly did. If I remember correctly, Trammell always hit around .600, while DEvans always blasted 12-15 HR. Also, Reggie and Ruppert always did well.
I'm planning on playing a season with CA and I'm going to keep stats. My goals are as follows:
- Allow zero runs
- Hit 25 HR's and have 40 rbi's with Reggie
- Hit .750 with Ruppert
- Team average of .500 or higher
Are these goals attainable? Too high or too low? Thoughts...recommendations? I'd like to challenge myself.
What do you consider a season? How many games? Also this thread really should be in the RBI forum.
I honestly cant remember, but if you play the season mode are you always the visiting team?
Either way attaining those Reggie totals AND allowing 0 runs would be tough. 9 games would mean basically 3 HRs a games and 5 RBIs a game. lets say he homers every at bat.... it still takes 3 at bats per game to acheive that goal. which with the slaughter rule would be impossible really. I am saying this with out much thought though, so I could be wrong.
Yeah, assuming 9 games really tough due to slaughter, you will only score about 100 runs, for Reggie to have 25 HRs and 40 RBI's would be very very difficult

Cool. Sounds like a challenge. I'll update after my season.
How many times did you hit the reset buton.
How did you keep track of who hit what? I once tried to keep score on a conventional scoresheet as two others were playing RBI and had a bitch of a time keeping up.
You also have to remember that Reggie Jackson absolutely sucks. Unless you can get HRs and RBIs from grounding out everytime, I seriously doubt your goals are attainable.

Band?
this man obviously is a heathen.
I kept stats, intricate stats, for multiple seasons against other people. There was a lot of people in the league, and it was hard.
