Gladden is not the worst player in the game. Greg Gagne should be tops on the list. Gladden can occasionally hit for power but what he lacks in power he makes up tenfold in speed. Hes a running machine. He falters some against the BoSox because of the gun that Dewey has but he should not be ranked that low.

And I think you are misinterpreting the information. By "Worst Hitters in Lineup" we are referring to the worst players based on where they bat . Therefore, Potsie thinks Gladden in the worst leadoff hitter in the game, not the worst overall player....
