How many people out there in Dee-nee land have player jerseys for original RBI players?
I have a few. I collect A's jerseys so all of my RBI jerseys are A's related. I have Tony Armas, Reggie Jackson, Mark McGwire, and Jose Canseco.
-I have an early 80s A's spring training jersey with "Armas 20" on the back in green screened numbers and letters. The jersey is a bright yellow with an A's logo in green on the left breast.
-I have an early 70s A's yellow jersey with "Jackson 9" on the back.
-I have a mid 90's A's green alternate jersey with "McGwire 25" on the back.
-I have a late 80's A's home jersey with "Canseco 33" on the back.
What are the most owned jerseys of RBIers on dee-nee?
Reggie: 1
Armas: 1
McGwire: 1
Canseco: 1
Cal Ripken: 1
Sandberg: 8 (one is little brother's, 2 wife's, one son's)
Hrbek : 1 (when child)
McGee: 1
Gwynn: 1 (litte brother's)
Mitchell: 1 (little brother's)
cal ripken here
I will mark that down.
I have none...
erhajj - How many arcade RBI jerseys you have from the A's?
http://dee-nee.com/rbi/arcade/athletics.shtml
I have a Rickey, a Murphy, and a Lansford.
oh, and a Vida Blue.
I have a Sandberg jersey. When I was 7, I had a Hrbek jersey, too.
Not a true RBIer, but an arcade RBIer:
Carlton Fisk 1981 White Sox softball style game worn jersey
That is pretty cool.
Yeah, I have about 50 game worn jerseys (mostly older NHL) and the Fisk is my favorite by far.
Whoa, none of my jerseys are game used. That is a lot that you have. I actually wear my jerseys. My wife has a few also. All but one of hers are Quebec teams and the other is a Gagne Dodger jersey.
you two crazy canucks.
you're just too much
You have to have a lot of clothing to keep warm up here.

I have a Sandberg. Not game-worn, though.
I mad my own Mike Greenwell jersey once out of a white t-shirt, he should have been in RBI IMO.
when i was younger i believe i had an andy van slyke jersey. not in rbi, but rbi era.
my most prized jersey was an Elway old school Orange broncos. It got ripped in half a few football games ago so I switched to the Steve Atwater Jets jersey and that got torn the very next game.
I also had a Heath Shuler jersey.

Updated.
I know for a fact that my little brother has a sandberg, a gwynn, and a kevin mitchell. Should I count them even though he is not a member of dee-nee?
I've got a red, Majestic Willie jersey, from way before they had the MLB contract.
I'll count it.
Kane has a Dee Brown t-shirt where he's doing the dunk that won him the slam dunk contest, I think we should count that.
i have 2 sandberg jersey's (84 road and "new" home)
my son has a road and home jersey along with a "t shirt" jersey of sandberg.
My wife has a home sandberg jersey.

I might buy a leon durham if I could find one.
I know I'd buy a Jody Davis jersey if I could find one. I've come really really close to getting a Dawson Jersey.
next dee nee fest, we should all be required to show in an rbi uni...see who can come up with the most "rare" player.
That's not fair. Malnu would show up in a t shirt with Kevin McReynolds sharpied on the back.
I think that my tony armas is pretty cool although I wear the reggie to play RBI.
If somebody has a harry spilman I think that I might bust a nut on the spot.

I know that I have seen Durham and Davis jerseys on ebay. Seriously.
And Dawson is out there of course.
I am thinking of getting my wife a tim raines for christmas.

That'd ruin the jersey and would make you a jerk. >:(
well, I would be very happy to see the jersey and I would clean it as soon as I had to.

just looking at the URL it says "sigend jerey." My work firewall prevents me from seeing ebay, but I'm certain the jersey is out of my price range.
I'm really beginning to like the cheesy assed "T Shirt" jersey. I have a couple of them. . . one says "sandberg" and one says "Daddy" (both cub shirts).
They are cheap shirts but you still get to support your team / player.

In Jr. High, I had a Scottie Pippen T-Shirt that read "Pippen Ain't Easy." I didn't know what that phrase meant. In retrospect, it was pretty sweet.
Quality song.

they were right. pimping is not easy.
Bored at work and was looking though my old files and found this pic of my jersey collection.
Note the MAME where I play Arcade RBI and the small TV over the bar where I play NES RBI (and drink).
shooty, can we come over? your house looks awesome, and pretty huge. so falling asleep on the floor wouldn't be an issue.
are you rich or do you just have a lot of money?
I used to like my basement, thanks a lot Shooty.
i don't even have a basement.
I used to have an entire upstairs loft --- pool table. . . . old jerseys hangin on the wall. . . . video game set ups. . . . . couch and chair. . . . dart board. . . . . . my own shitter
I think I'm gonna cry. . . .
shooty.... what country do you rule?

Neither...I'm realtively broke at the moment. Upcoming wedding in the Bahamas and ensuing reception when we get back is breaking my bank.
And even though my jersey collection is probably worth close to $40K, I've paid for most of it though other jersey wheelings and dealings.
Everythign else I have down there I've been able to haggle good prices for. I'm a master negotiator.
Damn Shooty. Hopefully after my wedding and honeymoon in St. Lucia I will be broke enough to have a kick as place like that.
We don't have basements in TX though :'(
i'm gonna consider you as rich.

Trust me, its way cheaper than having a wedding here. The last few weddings I have been to have cost the parents about $30-40 grand. Since I'm the one footing the bill for my wedding, it was a hell of a lot cheaper to just go down south. Anybody else who wanted to join us is paying their own way. So we get a better wedding for way less money. And best off all, no annoying relatives will be there. Thats what you call a win-win.
I'm posting this in the wrong thead I think but the next dee nee fest has changed locations. The entire event will be held in Shooty's basement.

Yeah, Pee Wee Herman found out the hard way.
No Basement in the Alamo!
bump...This may be the best jersey ever. (http://www.customthrowbackjerseys.com/products/TERRY-PUHL-Houston-Astros-1980-Majestic-Cooperstown-Throwback-Baseball-Jersey.html)
Big fan of the "quotation marks" on that site. Makes it "frustrating to read." Not a "fan."

I "just realized" that. I really want the '83 "Andy Van Slyke" "Cardinals" road jersey.
Since this is at the top.

1987 Mets Al Pedrique
1981 Braves Steve Bedrosian
