Title: RBI on the PSP
Post by: Wisnoodles on 09/07/05, 09:25:49 AM
Does anyone here play RBI on the PSP or Pocket PC?  I use both, mainly my PSP though at home and the Pocket PC at work.  Using the Pocket PC allows for stats to be tracked easier with use of excel a tap away.

I would like to but I don't own PSP or pocket PC, is RBI user friendly on these systems?  Easy to play?

Extremely easy.  Emulators are avaliable for both. Using the analog stick on the PSP for moving around instead of buttons is nice too.  The graphics I think are make the game even better for the PSP.

I've been meaning to load the emulator onto the PSP so I could do this, but I haven't done it yet.  Do you have a link for the easiest method to get everything loaded onto the PSP?  I have a PSP with 1.50, so it should be a go.

Well, when you don't really know anyone around you who even knows the game its pretty hard to do otherwise.  Currently the only internet connection I have is here at work.  You can still have a lot of fun regardless

The easiest way to get emulators on your PSP in on pspbrew.com.  You click on the emulators you want and hit enter and it builds an executable for you to download.  Really slick.

Playing RBI on the PSP is fabulous.  I've played several games with different ROMs and I'm having a great time.  The PSP is also a great GameBoy emulator, but anything more powerful than the 8-bit generation is too much for the PSP so far(Super Nintendo is choppy, Genesis is a little slow).  Kinda sad that I've played more RBI than any other game on the PSP.
