Shitball cocksuckers but for some reason just seem to get the job done. Oh yeah, must be the 30 runs of support given every game by the likes of Joyner, Reggie and Ruppert.
I like their starters. Both good curve pitchers. Sutton and Witt have slow curves that tantalize hitters. Sutton has the best Blooge(sinker) in the game. Corbet and Moore comprise the worst bullpen in the game. If you have to put them in you're done. I heard Donnie Moore killed himself because he ran out of pitchers playing RBI and he was the only reliever left.
I must say, my favorite pitchers to rock the blooge with are Sutton and Krukow. Something about the slow pitching big curve guys makes the blooge seem more effective. I looked at the rankings and saw that Scott has a much higher blooge rating than Sutton, but I just love Sutton's knack for causing the batter to guess wrong. It seems everytime the hitter swings it drops, and everytime he takes it stays over for a strike.
To settle this... Krukow has the best Blooge in the game. I could shut you down with 3 straight blooges.
Krukow definitely has the best Blooge of all. Mike Scott is a very close second but his is a little different. It's thrown much harder. Krukow throws puss and the bottom just falls out. I've been known to strike out the side against the computer using nothing but Blooges.
Side note: who coined the term Blooge?
Me and my friends always called it the blooge. Blooge (or Blooj there's no official spelling) is what the pitch sounds like.
There is no debating the fact that Krukow has THE best Blooge in the game. In fact, I think the entire Giant pitching staff is pretty damn good. He's not as fat as Big Daddy Rick Reuschel (everybody's favorite sufferer of Type 2 Diabetes), but his Blooge is unhittable to say the least.
And, ummm....I hate California's pitching staff.
Now i know that i just told everyone i lost against houston but i love the california pitching staff. They dont throw fast but i seem to make them effective. I can always get 6 or 7 out of witt. the only problem i have with them is having to pitch with the dead man Donnie Moore. Anytime he comes in i say "Honey, get the kids" just in case something happens. But usually i just avoid using him all together.
