Title: Pitcher hr...blah blah blah
Post by: Attezzobal on 09/18/05, 03:42:51 AM
I'm very drunk

Octofranco=Very drunk

While we were midly sober/drunk, and with two people as witnesses (including a hot chick), Bert Blyleven went an inch to the left of what should have been a walzie.

We're both believes.

As much as I still want to be a grumpy old man, I'm a believer (I couldn't leave her if...)

Anyhow, great night of rbi'ing, mucho trash talking, even more drinking, almost a pitcher home run, it'll be quite a long time before we get another one even close, but it wwas worth it...

We also had a discussion about Nacho being awesome, and Mr. being the shittiest member of any forum in the history of the internet (probably?), what'd I miss in the past three days? Anyone affected by the train stuff?

He also offered to give me a ride on the "violence train" or something like that.

Anyhow, now that I'm all sobered up, Blyleven pretended to be MegaBlyleven last night and slammed one off the wall in left (maybe a ball and a half length away from the foul line), could have just as easily been a wallzie, due to the shock of it all, it resulted in a single and a cigarette break.

I'm now a believer.

I hate those Coors Light commercials but I don't think that's what you're talking about.  What train stuff are you talking about?

I'm pretty sure that at the time of the post, on the netscape.com front page was a headline that said something about a train crash near Chitown

I am still dismayed by this event.

What's more, I've never seen a ball hit to this part of the field without going through for a Wallzie.  Granted I was not without a few drinks when it happened, but I remember this being right on the line, which is even more tantalizing.  I was stunned by this as well.

I am not looking forward to being a non-skeptic anymore.

Edit:

Just to give the conspiracy theorists even more fodder for dispute, I would like to mention that this just happened to be the first time in a few times Attezz and I have played where we didn't have the VCR going recording the game.

How convenient, huh?
