Two of my buddies and I flew out to Boston this past weekend. During our flight, we were able to play some RBI. I created an RBI2k5 rom that consists of the Yanks, Red Sox, Angels, A's, White Sox, Houston, Florida, Dodgers, Nats, and the Cards. Game highlights:
Game 1
Cardinals 3 v. Red Sox 7
My buddy, who is fairly new to RBI, beat me behind a three-run blast by Big Papi and solo shots from Man-Ram, Renteria, Varitek and Damon. I wish I could blame it on turbulence. Mulder lasted only 4 2/3 innings before LaRussa had seen enough. Carpenter pitched decently, but R.King gave up the Earl Weaver to Ortiz. Cards lone excitement came on a two-run blast by R. Sanders.
Game 2
White Sox 6 v. Red Sox 5
Joe Crede hit a two-out, two strike home run to deep center in the bottom of the 8th to give the ChiSox there first and final lead of the game. Pryzynski went 3-3 and Pdsdnik was 4-4 with 5 stolen bases. I got my revenge on the Sox.
Remaining games were fuzzy due to alcohol intake. Overall, i was 3-1.
I need to know more about your setup. I am assuming a laptop with two USB controllers. Correct?
I got all excited at first because I've been playing on the PSP and for a moment I thought you had linked two PSPs and were playing that way. Stupid preconceived notions!

Correct on the laptop with two USB controllers. NES Emulator downloaded. Good stuff...
could you connect two psps for nes? if so, that is amazing! who'd have thought fifteen years ago.
Good stuff stevo, was it a pain to play with this setup on a plane?

Not for me. My buddy had a bit of a problem with the tray that comes down from the seat though. His laptop was fairly close to him so in order for me to see it sitting next to him, he had to adjust it. This led to a bit of poor clarity. However, we did play a few games in the hotel room, which I won, that had equal settings.
were people staring?
"what are those dangnabbit kids doing with those newfangled machines?!"
You should have played the drinking game, that would have turned some heads. You know if you technically played one game in two states? That might be a first...

Yes, people we're definitely staring and were annoyed with us, especially when I would scream "get-out" whenever I hit a ball well. Also, we intentionally turned the music up to annoy the grump old man in front of us. Two non-stop hours on the RBI song had to be annoying.

I believe we did play a game between Colorado and Kansas.
