im tempted to get a rom onto a cart featuring the best of the best between the 2 games.
im sure DET/BOS/CAL from the nes version would be on there, and the Yank's from the arcade. who else do you nominate. as for the nes version which all star team is better...im guessing thanks to PH'ers, the NL prolly? ive really only been the yanks on the arcade carts so far, and havent studied any other teams.
have at it kids.

The AL isn't even close to the NL. The NL is twenty times better. I hate the AL.
I would say there could be 7 Arcade teams better than the best NES team
NY, Chi, SF, Atl, Oak, Bos, Cin
The arcade teams are at a huge advantage as they are basically all time teams through 88 or so.

Not that it matters, but I'd put Atl tops in arcade (although I prefer Cincy in slurve, as everyone should), the NY's pitching is just so god awful that that lineup better put up at least 15 to win a game. Atl has NO weak spots in their lineup, and Spahn and Niekro can get it done.
