I had a glitch that occurred when playing RBI arcade last night.  My son, who is 4, wanted to play a 2-player game with me.  He isn't much for fielding, but is learning to hit straight pitch pretty well.  Anyway, when he bats, I don't go to great lengths to get him out.  However, he wound up with a guy on 3rd and 1 out.  I threw a pitch and my wife called me to help her carry something into the garage.  My son hits the ball and my right fielder catches it without moving.  Being 4, he knows nothing of making the runner tag up.  The runner at 3rd advanced to home, which is where the screen was when I was getting back to the game.  The arcade computer is set to keep the game moving, though!  Before I could get back to the maching, the batting/pitching screen pops back up, and the guy who was standing on home plate is gone!!!  There were now two outs and nobody was on base.  The computer didn't allow the run to score, but didn't put the guy back to third, either.  He just vanished and the game continued.

That's a pretty funny way to resolve the issue.  Maybe I'll try it tonight and see if it always happens.

Never seen that one before.  I'll have to check it out.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

can you really say something's a glitch that you didn't see though?

Just confirmed on my arcade...    If you are called out on a popup and you don't tag up, the runners will safely advance to second or third if the timer runs out.  When they advance home and the timer runs out, they just disappear.  Probably because they have to base to stay on when the next play hapens.  Not an out though, they just disappear.  I think I'll add the following two glitches

Get out of Jail Free - When you advance your runners without tagging up, thanks to your opponent taking to long.

The Spinal Tap Glitch - When your runner at home disappears after not tagging up.  Kind of like in Spinal Tap where the drummers spontaneously combust for no reason...

I also confirmed this glitch last night.  The game will let you run back and forth between the bases forever, it won't timeout until you stop on a base.  Also if you have more than 1 guy on home, they will all disappear.
