Thank you!! for creating this fantastic resource for RBI enthusiasts.  I wanted to load my own ROMS of all time great players from each era on RBI editor 2, when I save it to my hard drive what file ext should I use.

I'd go with .NES - I'm not sure what emulators support loading ROMs in ZIP format.

More specifically I was wondering if I could create the player ratings in an Excel spreadsheet then load them into the editor or would I have to manually enter the ratings within the editor?  Would anyone be interested in RBI assigned to teams by era?

I don't think you can load them from Excel, just the other way around, so it would have to be manual.

Tell us more about this "RBI assigned to teams by era" idea.

I thought of two ways of doing it.  One was creating teams by decade.  Where there would be 10-20 team, a 20-30 team...60-70, 80-90, 90-00.  The other would be by league over a great time span, such as 60-80 AL and a 60-80 NL team.

Check this old thread out for help

That thread really filled a boring Sunday morning for me.

Welcome Duhbigcat!  Keep firing away with any editor related questions you have...  And once you are done, let me know and I'll add any ROMs you make to the ROMs page

SilverBlue

Thank you for the welcome Gantry.  Kipsilanti has provided decade rosters.  I can do the leg work in compiling statistics and ratings.  I was wondering what would be the most efficient way to load the ROMS?  I can put them in the editor, but I would have to do it in intervals.

Ah... I misread the original question.  I know there's support for exporting the data into a tab-delimited text file, but I don't recall whether it can be imported into the editor from an existing file.  Excel should be able to save to plain text, so if it does work, you could still set up your data that way.
