Poll
Question: In order from lowest to highest scoring game:
Option 1: ATG (anything goes) votes: 19
Option 2: Slurve (any pitches allowed, but must be a strike.  Any called ball, will result in the next pitch being grooved right down the middle). votes: 3
Option 3: Straight pitch (any pitch is allowed as long as it is str8.  No curve balls) votes: 2
Option 4: BPST (Batting Practice Str8 Pitch)  Pitcher must be in the ~center of the mound for each pitch and only the A button is allowed for pitching. votes: 1

My guess is that I am in the minority with BPSP.  I just like the high scoring drinking games for home runs.  I cannot help myself.

Anything Goes, though with several rules (No 2 SP per 9 innings, infield fly enforced, etc.)

ATG but Ult style. No reset, if you use two starters in a game, you're a dumbass.

However, since we generally will play a series at a time (at least five game), we do reset to use the proper home field advantage, 2-3-2 is what we do, or 2-1-2, but you still can't use a starter in back to back games.

Strassy and I allow this if the game goes into extra innings.  Since we use Ho and SL about 90% of the time, this can often lead to 20-plus inning games, and thus boners in our pants.

Bad language on my part, I use two starters a game sometimes as well, but I think that you shouldn't be allowed any starters the next game (if during a series) if this is done. With Hou/StL you really should be able to get through 27 outs with a reliever.

I went with straight pitch but it's kind of a mix between that and BPSP.  We leave the pitcher in the middle of the mound but you can change speeds.

Drinking RBI with Wild Irish Rose = Baines passed out face down in friend's driveway

Better to get beat 2-1 than to prove my ultimate suckiness by getting smashed at straight pitch.

Do we have to go through this again? How many games did you see me play in C-Bus? Have we ever played each other live? How many times have we played online?

Yes, I enjoy run downs, but over the last year or so, I've drastically cut down on them and only get into run downs with guys that are 140 and above.

Congrats on adding nothing to this conversation.

This was JoeDirt's third shot at me, out of maybe five or six possible posts.

After reading the anything goes board, I realized that, maybe that's just the way he shows how much he cares.

if you play any way other than anything-goes, it's really not all that much different from plain straight pitch. It's just guessing speeds, and maybe adjusting a tiny bit L-R if it's slurve, but really, you can hit the ball every time, even when you're drunk.

Basically, all your hitters will tend to look like this:
