Will not start the tournament until Tuesday evening.
If you would like any line-up changes for the tournament, please let me know before then.
Here are the first four series matchups:
1. Slim vs
8. One Nut Kruks
2. Generalisimos vs
7. Wristslitters
3. Faux Sox vs
6. Skull Fuckers
4. Jew vs
5. PoopyButts
This is a double elimination tournament where all matchups consist of a best-of-three game series. The better seed will get home field throughout (Not one playoff team had a losing record in home games during the regular season).
The team that wins the first 3 series matchups will automatically advance to the Championship series. In the championship, the 3-0 team will need to win 2 games before their opponent wins 4 games (since they will have not lost a series yet).
May the poopiest butt win!
Did 8 of the 10 teams just make the post season? Or were there only 8 teams? In any case what kind of socialist league is this?

Rack's and Atezz's team didn't make the tournament.
I would like to think of this as more of a capitalistic league. The bottom 20% that cannot compete with the others, simply fade away.
1. Slim vs
8. One Nut Kruks
GAME 1
Slim:
Murphy; 6/8, HR, 3 2B, 6 RBI
DCincs; 6/8, 2HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Pucket; 6/8, 3HR, 8 RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Gaetti; 10/10, 4HR, 3B, 2B, 10 RBI
Dawson; 7/10, 3HR, 3 2B, 5 RBI
Whitkr; 8/10, HR, 5 2B, 6 RBI
Gagne; 5/9; 4HR, 2B, 6 RBI
The number 1 seed cannot handle Gaetti and the One-Nut Kruks in the first game of the series. Slim falls 51-34 in 9 innings.
GAME 2
Slim:
DCincs; 3/4, 2HR, 6 RBI
Mldndo; 4/4, 2HR (GS), 2B, 7 RBI
Heep; 3/4, 2HR, 4 RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Gaetti; 3/3, HR, 2B, 3 RBI
Gagne; 2/3, GS, 4 RBI
Slim gets payback in game 2, quickly defeating the One-Nut Kruks 13-23 in 4 innings.
Series is tied 1-1.
GAME 3
Slim:
Boggs; 3/3, HR, 2 2B, 3 RBI
Pucket; 2/3, HR, 2 RBI
Baylor; 2/3, 2B, RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Gaetti; 3/5, 2HR, 4 RBI
Brookn; 5/5, HR, 3 RBI
Dawson; 5/5, 3HR, 2B, 9 RBI
GDavis; 4/5, HR, 3 RBI
The One-Nut Kruks pull off the early upset with a 23-8 victory in 5 innings.
This is even a bigger surprise since ON was 0-4 against Slim during the regular season.
Slim will drop into the losers bracket and will play the loser of the Jew/Poppybutts series. The One-Nuts will play the winner.
Series MVP: Gaetti; 16/18, 7HR, 17 RBI
Dawson also had a good series; 14/18, 6HR, 14 RBI
The wild card in the series may have been Gagne though. Not sure anyone expected him to hit 6 Home Runs (incl. a Grand Slam).
The series goat:
Baylor; 8/16, 1 HR, 4 RBI-- considering he was one of the top players during the regular season, looks like he kinda choked.
T.Herr was the only player w/ worse stats than Baylor; 7/14, 0 HR, 1 RBI
The next series will be the Generalisimos/Wristslitters. They split during the regular season. The Wristlitters will be looking for the second straight upset in the tourney.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
2. Generalisimos vs
7. Wristslitters
The Generalisimos only needed 6 innings to knock the Wristslitters into the loser's bracket.
GAME 1
Generalisimos:
Mtngly; 3/3, HR, 4 RBI
Cansco; 3/3, 2HR, 2 RBI
Schfld; 3/3, 2HR, 4 RBI
Speier; 3/3, 2B, RBI
Wristslitters:
Brnsky; 2/2, HR, RBI
DaEvns; 2/2, HR, 2 RBI
J.Cruz; 1/2, HR, RBI
Generalisimos win 16-6 in 3 innings.
GAME 2
Generalisimos:
Mtngly; 4/4, HR, 3 RBI
J.Rice; 4/4, 2HR, 5 RBI
Pndltn; 3/3, HR, 3 RBI
Schfld; 3/3, 2 2B, RBI
Wristslitters:
Brnsky; 3/3, HR, 2 RBI
DaEvns; 2/3, 2HR, 3 RBI
Madlck; 2/2, 2HR, 4 RBI
Generalisimos win 21-10 in 3 innings.
Series MVP: Mattingly; 7/7, 2HR, 7 RBI
J.Rice and Schfld had a great series too w/ a combined 12/13, 5HR, 11 RBI.
The goat: HoJo; 1/5, 0 RBI in the series.
The next series will be The Faux Sox and the Skullfuckers. They split the season series.
Viva!
Esta bueno!
Si!
El clutcho!
3. Faux Sox vs
6. Skull Fuckers
GAME 1
Faux Sox:
Burks; 4/4, 2HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Lemon; 3/3, 2HR, 3 RBI
Hendrk; 3/3, 2HR, 2B, 3 RBI
Skullfuckers:
Wilfng; 3/3, HR, RBI
Bell; 2/3, 2HR, 5 RBI
Yngbld; 1/2, HR, 2 RBI
The Faux Sox make quick work of the Skullfuckers in game 1 winning 9-20 in four innings. Despite Armas going 0/3, the rest of the team picked up the slack, including Dykstr adding 2 tripples.
GAME 2
Faux Sox:
Armas; 6/6, 3HR, 7 RBI
Teufel; 4/5, 3HR, 7 RBI
Lemon; 3/6, 2HR, 4 RBI
Skullfuckers:
Wilfng; 7/7, 2 2B, 2 RBI
EDavis; 6/8, 3HR, 2 2B, 5 RBI
Yngbld; 4/7, GS, 2B, 6 RBI
Armas made up for his 0/3 performance in game 1 with a 6/6-3HR effort. Every inning after the 3rd, the Faux Sox were within 1 ab of putting the Skullfuckers away via 10-run rule. However, Burks, Henderson, and Hendrk went a combined 5/17 with only 1 HR and allowed the Skullfuckers to avoid the slaughter rule. SF put up 14 runs in the 8th and 9th inning while holding the fS scoreless. SF comes back and wins game 2, 31-23.
Series is tied 1-1.
GAME 3
Faux Sox:
Brett; 6/7, HR, 3 2B, 5 RBI
Hendrk; 5/6, 2HR, 4 RBI
Burks; 5/7, HR, 5 RBI
Skullfuckers:
EDavis; 6/6, 3HR, 2 2B, 6 RBI
DwEvns; 4/5, 2HR, 2 2B, 3 RBI
Bell; 3/6, 2HR, 5 RBI
This was a relatively low scoring game. However, the Faux Sox were able to squeeze in 28 runs in 8 innings. That was enought to run-rule the Skullfuckers and take the series.
Series MVP: Teufel; 9/14, 4HR, 10 RBI. In a low scoring close series like this, production out of your 9-hitter is clutch. No way they win the series w/o Teufel.
Burks & Lemon also had a decent series going a combined 22/33, 8HR, 21 RBI.
The goat: Leonard; although he batted over .600, he had 0 RBIs w/ no homers in 3 games. You cannot expect to win a 3 game series when your 3-hitter takes a shit.
Gedman also choked big time. When the batter before you (Wilfng) goes 13/14 with only 1 home run, Gedman has to drive in those runs. He batted only .267 with 1 HR.
The final series of the opening round will be Jew vs The Poopybutts. The deck seems to be stacked in favor of Jew. They will get homefield advantage, plus they took the regular season series 3 games to 1.
The Poopybutts see an opening with the #1 seed out of there. I love The Jews, but not until this series is over...

My prediction?
PAIN!
4. Jew vs
5. PoopyButts
GAME 1
Poopybutts:
Jackson; 1/1, 3B, RBI
Hrbek; 1/1, 2B, RBI
McGee; 1/1, 2B, RBI
Jew:
Raines; 3/3, HR, RBI
Gibson; 3/3, GS, 2B, 5 RBI
Spilmn; 2/2, HR, 3 RBI
Jew jumps out to a quick lead in the series taking donwn the Poopybutts 2-15 in 2 innings. Gibson put the cherry on the sundae with a walk-off Grand Slam.
GAME 2
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 5/5, 3HR, 8 RBI
Hrbek; 5/5, 2HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Lindmn; 4/5, 2HR, 5 RBI
Jew:
Raines; 3/3, HR, RBI
Boone; 2/3, GS, 4 RBI
Heath; 3/3, HR, RBI
Gantry must have lit a fire under the Poopybutts' ass after their shitty game 1 performance. Poopybutts go out in the top of the first inning and score 21 runs. You would think this would lead to a sure 1 inning game. However, Jew comes right back and scores 12 runs in the bottom of the first to avoid the slaughter rule. McGee, Garner, & Sntago start out the top of the second going 0/3. This created a big opportunity for Jew to come right back into this game, but they instead followed suit with 0 runs. The Poopybutts put up 11 more runs in the top of the third and that was just too much. Poopybutts tie the series with a 32-14 victory in 3 innings.
GAME 3
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 1/2, HR, 2 RBI
Sntago; 2/2, HR, 2B, 2 RBI
Hrbek; 2/2, 2B
Jew:
Raines; 4/4; HR, 2B, 3 RBI
Dwning; 2/4, 2HR (GS), 6 RBI
Heath; 2/3, 2 2B, 3 RBI
Poopybutts return to their game 1 form by only putting up 5 runs in the first 4 innings. Jew took full advantage this time, and ended the game after 4, putting up 17 runs. Dwning ended the game with a walk-off Grand Slam.
Jew wins both of their games with a walk-off grand slam.
Series MVP: Raines; 10/10, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Carter went 8/9 with a HR and 2 RBI. This allowed Downing to get 9 RBIs while only batting .500 in the series.
The Goat: Pettis; 2/7, 1 RBI. I would have to say that Tramml was also consumed by the pressure of trying to establish himself as the best leadoff man in the game. Raines absolutely dominated him in this series.
Don't Blame: Hrbek; 8/8, 2HR in the series loss. Unfortunately, the 3 batters following Hrbek only batted .500.
The next series, the 2-1 One-Nut Kruks will take on the 2-1 Jews. The Jews will get Homefield advantage, but they fell 1-3 in the season series.
this just got really interesting.
JEW-YA!

Maybe its the shitty player controlling the hitters. Ever think of that, doucebag? [/sour grapes]
4. Jew vs
8. One-Nut Kruks
GAME 1:
Both offenses were terrific in this game. The Jews averaged 6 runs per inning through six. However, the On-Nuts went absolutely nuts and ended the game in the 6th inning by a score of 46-36.
One-Nuts:
Gaetti; 6/8, 2HR, 2B, 8 RBI
Whitkr; 6/8, 4HR, 2B, 10 RBI
Dawson; 6/8, 3HR, 6 RBI
Jew:
Raines; 6/7, 3HR, 5 RBI
Gibson; 7/7, 5HR, 2B, 9 RBI
Spilmn; 5/6, 3HR, 8 RBI
GAME 2
The Jews go down. It didn't help that Raines/Gibson/Carter started the 1st and 5th innings going 0/3. The One-Nuts capitalized on this scoring consistently throughout the game and taking game two 22-12.
One-Nuts:
Brookn; 4/5, 3HR, 6 RBI
Dawson; 4/5, 2HR, 3 RBI
Gagne; 4/5, HR, 2 2B, 4 RBI
I think there is no question that the One-Nuts are for real. They barely made it to the tournament and now they have knocked the #1 and #4 seeds into the losers bracket.
SERIES MVP: Dawson; 10/13, 5 HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Brooken and Whitkr also had a great series going a combined 17/26, 9HR, 23 RBI
The Goat: Downing; 4/9, 0 HRs, only 2 RBI-- not the best production from a clean-up hitter.
Don't Blame: Gibson; 9/11, 5HR, 11 RBI in the losing series.
The next series will be the (2-1) Faux Sox vs the (2-0) generalisimos. The winner will take on the One-Nuts. The generalisimos appear to have a great advantage winning the season series 3-1 and will have home field.
TEAM OF DESTINY!
ONE-NUT KRUKS WHAT!!
3. Faux Sox vs
2. Generalisimos
GAME 1
Despite a couple of home runs, the Faux Sox offence didn't show up in Game 1. The Generalisimos quickly put down the Faux Sox 13-3 in 3 innings.
Faux Sox:
Hendrk; 1/1, HR, 2 RBI
Teufel; 1/1, HR, RBI
Burks/Armas/Hndrsn/Puhl; Combined 0/6
Generalisimos:
Joyner; 3/3, 2HR, 3 RBI
Pndltn/Morris/Speier; 2/2, HR, each and 6 RBIs
GAME 2
The Faux Sox started off on the right foot in this game, putting up 16 runs in the first 2 innings. However, after that the offense went cold. The Generalisimos scored at least 4 runs in all 6 innings to win 21-31.
Faux Sox:
Brett; 3/5, 2HR, 2B, 6 RBI
Hndrsn; 4/5, HR, 3 RBI
Hendrk; 4/4, 2B, 3 RBI
Generalisimos:
K.Bass; 6/7, Cycle, 4 RBI
Canseco; 3/6, 2HR, 7 RBI
Schfld; 4/6, 2HR, 6 RBI
Series MVP: Pendltn; 7/8, 2HR, 2B, 3 RBI
Joyner, Schfld, Canseco, & Morris also had 2 home runs each in the series.
The wild card in the series was Speier. 3 Home Runs, .625 avg and 6 RBIs from the 9-hole is outstanding in a low scoring series like this.
The next series will be (1-2) Slim vs (1-2) Poopybutts. Despite each team batting over .600 in the tournament, one will go home after this series. Slim will have home field advantage and they won the season series 3-1.
1. Slim vs
5. Poopybutts
GAME 1
Slim comes out in game 1 and puts up 8 home runs and 25 runs through seven innings. That doesn't seem like much, but the Poopybutts' offense was anemic. It didn't help that Hrbek, McGee, and Pettis went a combined 1/12 in game 1.
Anyway, Slim runs away with an easy game 1 victory of 25-14 in 7 innings.
Slim:
Murphy; 5/6, HR, 2B, 3 RBI
DCincs; 5/6, 2HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Pucket; 5/5, 2HR, 2B, 6 RBI
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 4/5, HR, RBI
Jacksn; 3/4, 2HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Garner; 3/4, 2B, 2 RBI
GAME 2
Poopybutts come back pissed off in Game 2 and only need 2 innings to put away Slim 14-1.
Slim:
Baylor; 1/1, 2B
Boggs; 1/1, 1B, RBI
Murphy/Heep; Combined 0/2, 2 DPs
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 3/3, 2 2B, 2 RBI
Pettis; 2/2, 2B, RBI
Jacksn; 2/3, HR, 3 RBI
GAME 3
This was a fairly low scoring game. Slim lead by 1-3 after each of the first 8 innings. However, Poopybutts saved it all for the top of the ninth putting up 14 runs and going ontop 34-24. Slim had one last chance to come back in the bottom of the ninth, but put up a huge doughnut.
Slim:
Baylor; 6/7, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Boggs; 5/6, 2HR, 5 RBI
DCincs; 5/6, 2HR, 4 RBI
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 7/8, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Jacksn; 4/8, 2HR, 8 RBI
Hrbek; 6/8, 3HR, 5 RBI
The team that was nearly unbeatable during the regular season takes last place in the tournament with 2 straight series losses and a 2-4 tournament record.
The Poopybutts will play the faux sox next in an elimination series.
Series MVP: Tramml; 14/16, 4HR, 3 2B, 8 RBI
Although Jackson only batted .600, he was an RBI machine, driving in 15 runs.
The goat: Heep; 4/13, only 1 RBI.
Mldndo also choked big time batting sub .400 and only 1 HR in 13 ABs.
Don't Blame: DCincs; 10/13, 4HRs in the series loss.
The next series in the tournament will be Skullfuckers (1-2) vs the Wristslitters (0-2). The series loser will go home, and the winner will play the Jews.
Never count out a poopy butt... We need to get some consistency fast though...
6. Skullfuckers vs
7. Wristslitters
GAME 1
The Wristslitters scored a consistent 4-6 runs per inning in this game. The Skullfucks were never really able to get things going and finally fell 26-16 in 5 innings.
Skullfukcers:
Bell; 3/4, HR, 2B, RBI
Wilfng; 3/4, HR, 2B, RBI
Grich; 4/4, 4 singles, 2 RBI
Wristslitters:
Brnsky; 5/5, 3 2B, 2 RBI
JClark; 3/5, GS, 2B, 5 RBI
Madlck; 4/5, 4 2B, 5 RBI
GAME 2:
This was an absolutely pathetic game. 0 runs were scored by either team in the 2-4th innings. The offense started to pick up a bit in the later innings as the skullfucks hit 8/9 home runs in the last 3 innings and the wristslitters hit all 7 of their home runs in the last 3 innings. The wristslitters pull off the series victory with a 28-21 win in game 2.
Skullfuckers:
DwEvns; 5/6, 3HR, 5 RBI
Yngbld; 5/6, 3HR, 5 RBI
Franco; 5/6, HR, 2 2B, RBI
Wristslitters:
Brnsky; 7/8, 2HR, 6 RBI
JClark; 5/7, HR, 5 RBI
Burlsn; 5/7, 4 2B, 4 RBI
Season MVP: Brnsky; 12/13, 2HR, 3 2B, 8 RBI
The Goat: EDavis; 5/11, 0 extra base hits, and only 3 RBIs.
Not one person on the Skullfucks batted over .700 in the series.
The Skullfuckers are now eliminated and take 2nd-to-last place in the tourney. The Wristslitters will move on to play the Jews in an elimination series, which will be the next series played. The Wristslitters and Jews split the season series. Jew will have home field.
Shit...my team sucks. I'm going to drown my sorrows by fucking me some serious skull.
7. Wristslitters vs
4. Jew
GAME 1
Jew only needed 3 innings to knock off the Wristslitters in game one. Knight ended it with a walk-off HR in the bottom of the 3rd. Final score was 7-18.
Wristslitters:
Johnson; 2/3, HR, RBI
Brnsky; 2/2, HR, 2B, RBI
JClark; 1/2, HR, 3 RBI
Jew:
Gibson; 3/3, 2HR, 5 RBI
Boone; 3/3, HR, 3 RBI
Dwning; 3/3, HR, 2 RBI
Knight; 3/3, GS, 2B, 5 RBI
GAME 2
Wristlitters came back hard in game two going ahead 7-0 after the first inning. Wristlitters had a chance to put the game away in the top of the 2nd, but put up a huge doughnut. This was a mistake since Jew went sick crazy in the bottom of the second. Knight hit another Grand Slam (second straight ab if you go back to the last game). Raines also hit a grandslam in the 2nd inning the second time through the lineup. Jews were unstopable as they ended the game in the bottom of the 2nd, putting up 18 runs. Final score; 7-18.
Wristslitters:
Johnson; 1/2, HR, 2 RBI
Madlck; 1/2, HR, 3 RBI
DaEvns; 2/2, 2 singles, 2 RBI
Jew:
Gibson; 3/3, 2HR, 3B, 3 RBI
Raines; 2/3, GS, 4 RBI
Knight; 1/2, GS, 4 RBI
Series MVP: Knight; 4/5, 2 GS, 9 RBI
Gibson also had a great game; 6/6, 4HR, 3B, 8 RBI
2/3 of the Jew lineup batted at least .800 in the series.
The Goat: JCruz; 1/4, 0 RBI in the series loss.
Don't blame: Brnsky/DaEvns; combined 8/8, HR, 2 2B, 4 RBI
Wristslitters are out. They will take 6th place in the tournament.
Jews advance and will take on the winner of the Poopybutts/Faux Sox series, which will be played next. Things don't look good for the Poopybutts. The Faux Sox swept the 4-game season series and will get home field advantage.
This tourney is like the baseketball playoffs.

This tourney is like the baseketball playoffs.
I will try to finish it before 2 months time.
3. Faux Sox
5. Poopybutts
GAME 1
The Poopybutts were too much for the Faux Sox to handle in game one (putting up 24 runs in the last 2 innings), and winning 35-14 in 4 innings.
Faux Sox:
Brett; 3/4, HR, 2B, RBI
Dykstr; 2/4, 2 3B, 2 RBI
Teufel; 2/3, 2HR, 3 RBI
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 4/6, 2HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Jackson; 5/6, 2HR, 3B, 6 RBI
Sntago; 5/5, HR, 5 RBI
GAME 2
Poopybutts came out batting thru the line-up in the top of the first putting up 6 runs, however the Faux Sox responded putting up 9 in the bottom of the first.
However, this will be the last 9 runs the Faux Sox will score in the Tourney. The Poopybutts put up 7 more runs in the 2nd inning and 8 more in the 3rd.
Poopybutts win 21-9 in 3 innings.
Faux Sox:
Brett; 2/3, HR, RBI
Burks; 1/1, HR, 2 RBI
Armas; 2/2, HR, RBI
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 3/4, HR, 3B, 4 RBI
Jackson; 3/3, HR, 2B, 3 RBI
McGee; 3/3, 3HR (GS), 7 RBI
Series MVP: Jackson; 8/9, 3HR, 2B, 3B, 9 RBI
Hrbek/Santiago had a great series as well; combined 15/17, 4HR, 2 2B, 10 RBI
The Goat: Lemon/Pulh/Hendrk; only 1 RBI each in the series loss.
The Faux Sox will take 5th place in the tourney. We are now down to 4 teams left.
The next series, the Generalisimos will take on the (cinderella team) One-Nut-Kruks. The winner of this series will advance to the Championship Series Bracket. Can the 8th seed One-Nut Kruks knock off the #1 and #2 seed?
BTW, Gibson is going yard in 44.4% of his ABs in the tourney (in 27 ABs).
POOPYBUTTS!!!
2. Generalisimos vs
8. One-Nut Kruks
GAME 1
The One-Nuts started strong (batting around in the first inning), and Rynlds even added a Grand Slam later in the game.
However, they were only able to put up 28 runs in 8 innings. The Generalisimos take game 1 by a score of 28-38 in 8 innings.
Generalisimos:
Cansco; 8/8, 4HR, 2 2B, 9 RBI
Mtngly; 6/8, 2HR, 3 2B, 7 RBI
J.Rice; 6/7, HR, 4 RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Dawson; 5/6, 3HR, 2 2B, 5 RBI
GDavis; 6/6, 2HR, 2B, 4 RBI
Brookn; 4/6, 2HR, 2 RBI
GAME 2
The 2 teams combined for 17 runs/inning in this slugfest. Dawson was incredible in this game and Rynlds hit another Grand Slam for the One-Nuts.
Mattingly added a Grand Slam of his own and added 11 RBIs along with Cansco for the Generalisimos. At the end of the day, this slugfest only lasted
6 innings, and the One-Nuts ended up on top with a score of 56-46. Cansco had a 15 AB hitting streak going, only to have it ended with the last out of the game.
Generalisimos:
Mtngly; 7/7, 2HR, (GS), 2B, 11 RBI
Cansco; 7/8, 4HR, 2B, 11 RBI
Joyner; 7/8, 2HR, 3 2B, 5 RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Brookn; 9/9, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Dawson; 7/9, 4HR (GS), 12 RBI
GDavis; 8/9, 4HR, 2B, 6 RBI
Whitkr; 7/8 2HR, 2 2B, 7 RBI
GAME 3
The 8th seed One-Nuts stay hot. They hit a Grand Slam in their 3rd straight game (Whitkr), and added 13 additional home runs to defeat the Generalisimos 41-37.
Generalisimos:
Mtngly; 8/8, 3HR, 2 2B, 9 RBI
Joyner; 7/8, 3HR, Cycle, 6 RBI
Schfld; 4/7, 3HR, 7 RBI
One-Nut Kruks:
Dawson; 8/9, 4HR, 2 2B, 8 RBI
Whitkr; 6/9, 3HR, 10 RBI
Brenly; 8/9, 2HR, 3 RBI
Series MVP: Dawson; 20/24, 11HR, 4 2B, 25 RBI
Brookn/GDavis also had a great series combining for 39/47, 14HR, 6 2B, and 28 RBI
The Goat: K.Bass; 12/24, 1HR. In this league, your leadoff man has to bat better than that over a 3 game series.
Everyone on the Generalisimos batted .500+, had at least 1 home run and 4 RBIs in the series. Plain and simple, they just got out hit by the One-Nutters.
The One-Nut Kruks advance to the Finals bracket. Whoever they end up meeting there, will have to beat them in 2 straight best-of-3 series to win it all.
The Generalisimos will be back to play the winner of the Jew/Poopybutts series.

Just win, baby!
5. Poopybutts vs
4. Jew
GAME 1
In this slugfest both teams scored in all 9 innings. Carter, Boone, and Santgo all hit grandslams, and there were 33 other home runs hit in the game. As is always the case in the Poopybutt/Jew match-up (they have played in 8 games including this one), Tramml plays like shit. He is always consumed by the pressure of trying to establish himself as the best leadoff man against Raines. Trammel goes only 3/10 and to top things off he ruins a huge 9th inning by making the final out with the bases loaded. With already 11 runs scored in the 9th, who knows how many more they would have gotten if Tramml could have at least gotten a hit (CDavis, Jackson, & Hrbek would have been next).
Jews only have to score 5 in the bottom of the ninth to take game one, 46-48.
Poppybutts:
Jackson; 6/9, 3HR, 7 RBI
Garner; 7/8, HR, 2 2B, 7 RBI
Pettis; 8/9, 2HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Jew:
Raines; 8/9, 2 Cycles, 4 RBI
Gibson; 6/9, 3HR, 2B, 8 RBI
Boone; 6/9, 4HR (GS), 9 RBI
Kruk; 9/9, 3HR, 6 RBI
GAME 2
The Jew offense goes cold (Raines/Gibson/Dwning/Knight go 0/7 w/ 0 RBI), and the Poopybutts only need 3 innings to take game two, 18-7.
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 4/4, 2HR, 5 RBI
Lindmn; 3/3, 2B, RBI
McGee; 3/3, 3B, 2B, 3 RBI
GAME 3
Both offenses were cold in the first half of this game. It was tied 8-8 after 5 innings as both teams put up 4-spots in the 1st and 5th innings. Then the offense started to pick up but the Poopybutts offense got hot faster than the Jews. The Poopybutts take game 3 and the series with a 35-20 win in 8 innings.
Poopybutts:
Trammel finally breaks out of his shell; 6/8, 2HR, 3 2B, 7 RBI
Jackson; 6/8, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Garner; 7/7, HR, 2 2B, 7 RBI
Series MVP: Garner; 16/18, 2HR, 5 2B, 17 RBI
Despite a low batting average (for him; .667) Jackson leads the team w/ 7 HRs in the series.
Wildcard: Pettis; 14/18, 2 cycles, 8 RBI in the series---pretty good production from the 9-hitter.
The goat(s): Gibson/Dwning did ok, but probably did not do as good as expected of them; combined for a .500 avg with 8HR & 17 RBI.
Don't Blame: Boone who led the team with 6HRs and 17 RBI in the series loss.
Jew will go home and take 4th place in the tourney.
The 5th seed Poopybutts will take on the 2 seed Generalisimos next. The winner will meet the One-Nut Kruks in the Finals bracket.
I knew I would get my revenge on those Jews...
POOPYBUTTS!
I already beat the butts! How can I finish behind them!?!?!?! I declare shenanigans!!!!
Your win was a fluke, and this was clearly proven. Double-elimination yields true champions...
I DEMAND A RECOUNT!

BTW: I apologize for not being too snappy at finishing this thing up.
I was hoping to be done by football season, as that is where all my free time goes now.
I will finish in the next week or so.
I plan on starting the next season (using a different rom) after college bowl season.
Nobody is complaining Stock, you're dedication to this project is impressive to say the least...
5. Poopybutts vs
2. Generalisimos
GAME 1
Both teams came out swinging putting up 15 runs each thru the first 3 innings. However, the Generalisimos did not keep pace after that putting up 0 in the fourth. The Poopybutts held tight to their guns and had 35 runs by the 6th inning. Although, J.Rice put up 2 HRs and 5 RBIs in the last 2 innings, it wasn't enough.
Poopybutts take game one, 35-21 in 6 innings.
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 4/6, 3HR, 9 RBI
Jackson; 7/7, 3HR, 2B, 6 RBI
Hrbek; 6/7, 3HR, 5 RBI
Generalisimos:
Mtngly; 4/5, 2HR, 4 RBI
Cansco; 5/5, 2HR, 4 RBI
Morris; 4/4, 3B, 2B
GAME 2
The Generalisimos come back pissed off in Game 2 and put up 11 runs in the first and 9 runs in the second inning. That would be enough to put away the Poopybutts 10-20 in two innings.
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 1/2, HR, 2RBI
Lindmn; 2/2, 2HR, 6 RBI
Jackson/Hrbek/Sntago; combined 5/5, 5 singles
Generalisimos:
Joyner; 3/3, GS, 2B, 5 RBI
Schfld; 3/3, HR, 2 RBI
Morris; 3/3, HR, 2B, 4 RBI
GAME 3
Coming out of the top of the 3rd the poopybutts had gathered a 11-0 lead. With their back against the wall early, the generalisimos snap out of their slump by putting up 14 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. Going into the bottom of the 9 inning the Generalisimos found themself down 33-31 with Joyner, Canseco, Rice due up. However, they can only muster 1 run and lose the game (and the series) 33-32.
Poopybutts:
Jackson; 7/8, 3HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Hrbek; 6/8, 3HR, 2 2B, 10 RBI
Garner; 5/8, 2HR, 2B, 6 RBI
Generalisimos:
K.Bass; 6/8, 2HR, 2B, 5 RBI
Joyner; 5/8, 2HR, 5 RBI
Cansco; 5/8, 3HR, 5 RBI
So, the #2 seed Generalisimos take a modest 3rd place. The Poopybutts will have their work cut out for them as they will have to beat the #8 seed One-Nut-Kruks in 2 straight best-of-three series.
Series MVP: Jackson; 16/17, 6HR, 2 2B, 11 RBI
Hrbek also had an outstanding series; 14/17, 6 HR, 15 RBI
Series Goat: Mattingly probable fell a little short. After being one of the top performers during the regular season, he only bats .563 in the series loss.
Don't Blame: Morris; 11/13, 2HR, 3 2B, 3B, 8 RBI from the 8-spot in the series loss.
wow.
just wow.
8. One-Nut Kruks vs
5. Poppybutts
GAME 1
Well, not much to say about this one.
Poopybutts bat .917 with 6 home runs in the first inning.
One-Nuts get NO-HIT. Yep, the first No-Hitter of the season/tourney. Gaetti/Brooken/Dawson go 3-up & 3-down in the top of the first and Poopybutts take full advantage ending it 0-10 in the first inning.
One-Nut Kruks:
0/3
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 2/2, HR, 2B, 3 RBI
Jackson; 2/2, 2HR, 2 RBI
CDavis, Hrbek, & Lindmn add a home run each.
GAME 2
In game 2 the Poopybutts were a Tramml home run away from ending the second straight game in the first inning, but he pops up with the bases loaded. Instead this game ends up going back and forth in lead changes all the way thru 9 innings.
One-Nuts get a big top of the ninth and the Poopybutts cannot come back.
One-Nuts take game two with a 37-29 win.
One-Nut Kruks:
Gaetti; 6/8, 2HR, 2B, 7 RBI
Dawson; 6/8, 3HR, 5 RBI
Whitkr; 7/8, HR, 2B, 4 RBI
Poopybutts:
CDavis; 6/8, 4HR, 2B, 9 RBI
Hrbek; 6/7, 3HR, 3 RBI
Sntago; 5/7, 2 3B, 2 2B, 4 RBI
GAME 3
Poopybutts and One-Nutts went right back to their game 1 form.
As in the first game, the One-Nutts get only 3 abs in the first inning as Dawson grounds into a dp.
AND just like the first game, the Poopybutts take full advantage and put up 10 runs in the bottom (via a Trammel 3-run walk-off). It should be noted that the Poopybutts did all this with 1.000 batting average. Who knows how many more runs they could have put up?
One-Nuts:
Gaetti; 0/1
Brookn; 1/1, single
Dawson; 0/1 (dp)
Poopybutts:
Tramml; 2/2, HR, 2B, 2 RBI
Sntago; 1/1, HR, 3 RBI
Rest of team; 7/7, 2 2B, 5 RBI
Series MVP: CDavis; 9/11, 5HR, 2 2B, 12 RBI
Hrbek also had a great series going 8/9 with 4 homers
The Goat: Brenly; .375 batting average with 0 home runs and only 1 RBI
I guess the 1-3 batters in games 1 & 3 are "goat" worthy as well.
Alright, so it all comes down to the next best of 3 series for all the marbles.
POOPYBUTTS!!!!!!!!
Sorry guys.
The Tourney is over, but have not had time to do the write-up yet.
Alright, time to wrap this up.
The Final Series was Poopybutts vs One-Nut Kruks.
The Poopybutts would have to beat the One-Nuts in 2 straight 3-game series to win the tourney.
GAME 1
The Poopybutts put up 6 home runs (incl a GS), and 2 triples in five innings. The One-Nut Kruks put up 8 home runs (but with not nearly as many men on base.
The Poopybutts take game one 26-15 in 5 innins.
GAME 2
Poopybutts stay hot early with Sntago hitting a GS in the first inning and McGee hitting a GS in the 2nd inning. One-Nuts did a good job not trailing too far behind with Gaetti hitting home runs in his first two abs and Brookn adding a GS of his own in the 4th inning. However, the butts were just too much to handle as they just consistently put up at least 3 runs every inning and took game two 22-12 in 5 innings.
The Poopybutts are the world champions of the 2006 Stock Fantasy season. Despite the Butts only finishing 5th place in the regular season, Jackson and the rest of the crew went crazy in the tournament going 13-6. It's hard to stop a team that wins more than 2/3 of there game in the playoffs.
Congratulations to the Butts.
The second place One-Nut Kruks have nothing to feel bad about. They barely squeaked in with the last seed in the tournament, and made it all the way to the Finals Bracket.
Series MVP: I'm going to give this to Lindmn. He batted 1.000 in the final series with 3 HRs and 7 RBI.
CDavis and Sntago also kicked ass in the final series combining for a .737 BA, 5 HR and 19 RBI.
In the tournament, the Poopybutts had 4 players batting over .700.
Same said players combined for 94 home runs and 228 RBI in 19 games.
Thanks for the work Stock. When's the next one? :-)
Great season Stock, and huge congrats to Gantry and the champion Poopybutts.
I know second place is nothing to be ashamed of, but..Damn! That damn close!

Let's plan on starting the 2007 season after football season.
This was much more work than I anticipated and need a little bit of a break.
It will be a little different in the 2007 season. Want to use the custom ROM players from the 20th century cart I brought to the Chicago/Phoenix dee-nee fests.
I will support up to 13 teams (if there is enough interest).
Those with teams in the 2006 Stock Fantasy League will have first dibs at a team, but let me know now if you will be interested.
I wish I knew what all this was.
